Only discovered these Trustpilot reviews too late, vacuum cleaner arrived unnanounced, 3 weeks after purchasing, with no charger. Cat in a bag.

DO NOT BUY A VACUUM FROM AIRVAX.

My item was faulty, the vacuum had no suction. Their website advertised items were made in the UK and I had to wait weeks for it to be shipped from z China. It arrived 4 weeks later and when I emailed to raise a return request I was told I couldn’t return the item. I threatened legal action and they responded saying they could offer refund minus 20% handling fee and I would have to pay return postage costs to China.

Their website lies about items being made in the UK, the items are cheaply made and compared to competitive vacuums I would strongly advise you do. It purchase from Airvax.

No product guarantees in place to protect the consumer. I am currently liaising with the financial omburdsman to ensure I get a full refund!!!

WARNING! Do not buy this vacuum. Absolutely terrible. Virtually no suction on the lowest two settings forcing you to use the highest setting with still sub par results. Low life battery on this setting. Cheap Chinese construction. I’ve had a number of stick vacs including $1000 Dyson to a $99 Shark. This is the worst hands down. Spent over $300 for this this piece of garbage. Don’t do it

just bought one of these unfortunately no contact available no spare parts no replacements battery no warranty that would be usable what a mistake waved goodbye to £200

As with many of the other reviews on here I was taken in by the "best UK cordless vacuum" review. Ordered then read the reviews here and as stated below it's from China not UK as advertised and is certainly not the UK's favourite

I tried to cancel the order via paypal and then went to my bank - turns out I don't really have a leg to stand on. I also have launched a complaint via the ASA for false advertising.

I received the item yesterday - I've not even opened the box - it's light as a feather. I've since ordered and received another (genuinely reviewed and British) cordless vacuum - which is amazing)

I have tried to start a returns process acknowledging I will have to pay for it - no response but the website now seems to have gone down ...

It’s 100% a scam, I ordered one and didn’t do my normal due-diligence.
The product is dispatched from China, it’s in no branded packaging, it looks cheap and nasty and there is no branding on the hoover.
Do not purchase from them, we have paid £199 for something that could probably blow my electrics if I charge it.
It’s a massive SCAM

SCAM! It is not a genuine product as advertised. Ordered & was "in transit" for over 4 weeks. Paid by PayPal thankfully and escalated the "customer service chat" (which assured me it was out for delivery) to Paypal and got a full refund of €249 within 24hrs. The site was linked to trustguide reviews of vacuums and rated this no.1. Buyers beware!!!

Honestly awful. Do not buy it's a complete SCAM!!!

Bought it seeing it on a Which article rating is really good. The vacuum is cheap Chinese crap. It goes into error after 30 seconds of using it.
When you turn it off it just splurts out everything you just sucked up. What a waste of £199. Customer service will not accept fault and make you post it back on your own expense.

Feel really cheated and utterly disappointed. Please do not buy 😥

As with all the others, waited 3 weeks for delivery, only ordered as product statement says "Made in premium British manufacturing facility", its not, it comes from China and is junk, for any kind of suction, you need it on level 3, battery life is then barely 20 mins. Will be seeking refund through bank, as Paypal haven't been much help either. Avoid at all costs.

This website is a complete scam. They do not respond within a reasonable timeframe, and when they finally do, they do the exact opposite of what you request. I tried to cancel my order almost immediately after placing it, yet they refused and said they would only offer an 80% refund — meaning they wanted to keep €49 for absolutely nothing.

Despite being clearly told not to ship the order, they then claimed it was shipped anyway. This feels deliberate and deceptive.

To make matters worse, the purchase was made through Klarna, who have been just as unhelpful. They offer no real protection to customers and have done nothing to resolve the situation. I’ve been trying to sort this out for the last 10 days with no resolution.

Avoid this website and be very cautious using Klarna, as neither seem to care about customer protection.

There advertising make it look like they where in the UK, it’s not until you pay you find out it’s coming from Hong Kong, I’ve tried to cancel the order to be told I can cancel but it will cost me 20% of the order. I will post all the email correspondence once this has been completed to let you all know how bad this company is, so please beware and stay away from this company or any company that advertising them.

Ordered mid November. Tracking showed delivery to local depot early December then no movement for several weeks. Contacted Air Vax who initially told me to wait, coz it's a busy period. Then after a few more weeks confessed 'untraceable'. Then, asked me to wait whilst they carried our investigations with their courier. I chased and chased before being offered a replacement (which I declined) or 50% refund because 'they too suffered losses' absolute pain to deal with. If you do buy go via Credit Card so they can assist you if goods aren't received and money withheld.

Believe all the bad reviews before purchasing from this scamming "company". I bought the Airvax-UK and everything went wrong as u would expect from a cheap Chinese knock off but please dont be fooled, they operate as a genuine company and charge the £199, the website looks real and the product is real but please dont be fooled. Apparently if you type in "the best hoovers in UK reviews" it comes up with this hoover as No1 which I now believe to be part of the scam.
Over heated, charge lasted 8 minutes, flimsy and the quality is extremely poor then just stopped working. Went for a return and refund but as it came from China and NOT the UK as it states on the website, they wanted me to pay for return postage then charge me a 20% handling fee and then they would refund me 80% of the full price of product or NOT send it back but keep it then refund me 20% of full price as "compensation" PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you want a GOOD hoover for the same price then I advise going to VAX website and buying a better quality product from a reputable company for the SAME PRICE!!!
But to be honest its my fault as I should have realised when the delivery was from CHINA and not the UK....very hard lesson learned.

This hoover comes from China. It has lasted a total of 5 days before it broke. The charge lasts less than 5 minutes before I have to recharge it again. Scam website

It's an absolute shambles product. Doesn't hover up and battery life is not 90 minutes but hardly 40 minutes suction start well but at 92% it drops down sucniffelently very high price for a rubbish product trying to get refund or send the product back is impossible due to there site shutting down mediately father complain

Pathetic and disgusting company. Had to chase the company after made payment for my product. When requested to cancel, was told that it's been dispatched. Got it after 3 weeks. When requested for return, was told to pay £40 as charges. Absolutely no no...stay away..

I would like to rate it a zero but I can't. Was not happy with the product. Stopped working within a week and they would not let me return it without paying shipping costs and not the full price. It also took over a month to be delivered!

After a long wait, the vacuum finally arrived after 2 weeks with no updates in between. The product does not match the description of tall claims of good performance. Terrible and weak suction power. When I told them I want to return, they said "you can gift it to your friend or relative and we will as a gesture of goodwill refund to 10% of the purchase price. What a joke! This is a serious SCAM. I wish I had researched a bit better. This company should be reported to consumer society and have them banned in UK

Cordless vacuum eventually arrived after a few weeks delay. Charging plug was completely unuseable - one of the pins bent at a 20' angle. On attempting to contact customer service the site came up as " this site cannot be found".
