Game Over

Used to be so good and I happily paid the yearly subscription but lately it’s been really glitchy and trying to use support was a joke. A.I based; of course. Absolutely rubbish and infuriating. So after more than 10 years, I’ve cancelled the subscription and will use another email client.

I have used Airmail begrudgingly on my MacBook Pro (M1) and iPhone 14 for years. When it works, it's amazing and is excellent for workflow (I manage 15 accounts of my own and clients). When it's buggy -- lags, latency, doesn't save account preference in iCloud even though I have checked that box repeatedly, it's maddening. The problem is primarily on MacOS. Lately it freezes regularly and lags in loading Inboxes (even with all the animations disabled). The lagtime is the worst. I opened it about 10 minutes ago and finally am seeing all the inboxes and receiving email. I'm not sure why the app has such high ratings on the App Store. It was an award winner almost 10 years ago for several years. Since Apple purchased it, the app has definitely gone downhill. Support is OK, but usually I am told to "Rebuild the Account(s)" or "Reset Messages Cache" when having a problem (frequently). But this seems to slow it down more. I wish Apple put more into it.

I hesitated and then due to my trust in Graydon Varter's taste I subscribed. They had a special for $25 but then it was only $17. So I jumped in. when I got my credit card statement they billed me $54. I tried customer service, but it is non-existant. So I took steps with my credit card. The product is also like a French desert: looks great but, it is sort of empty once you bite in. I regret my haste.

We are seniors

We are seniors, travelling recently by Air Canada from Halifax to Toronto on May 26th, Then from Toronto to Minnesota on June 1st. back to Halifax on June 4th. 2023, via Montreal. Most of the Air Canada agents and staff are very helpful at Halifax Airport, Toronto Airport and Minnesota Airport. We gave them triple A.
But, we experienced two Air Canada staff from Montreal Air port that are not helpful at all.
We landed to Montreal from Minnesota from AC1014on June 4th. at 1638 hr. No wheel chairs were available despite the fact that it was indicated in our tickets. We decided to walk and did not realized that Montreal Airport is so large. At one point we asked an Air Canada staff( did not get her name), wearing a Head scarf, where we can get a ride from the passenger cart as we were tired. She just said "go to the top of the path and wait there" She did not made any attempt to phone for any wheel chairs and cart. Just brushed us off as were two old fools who does not speak English.
After walking further we were directed by Mr. Mirher (spelling) who kindly directed to the Air Canada agents' desk and the gentleman helped us to request two wheel chairs. After waiting for a long time, we decided to declare the custom forms and asked a lady for help. She is a French speaking lady with glasses, there were no other passengers lining up for help.
She directed us to the machine and started to help us to input our declaration. She was so impatient and asked me what is wrong with me to keep her waiting. I told her I need my glasses to see the screen. She gave me no time to find my glasses from my purse and unwillingly directed me to fill in the blanks without my glasses. We filled in the blanks with no problems, as we are frequent travelers.
Our next scheduled flight on AC8250, Halifax bound, was not until boarding at 2125 hr. Then we meet the lady with the scarf again, and we asked her about the Boarding gate, she just brushed us off again and made no attempts to help or check ABOUT OUR FLIGHT!
We are both in our eighties and we do not deserve such treatment from the Air Canada staff, when we only ask for help and directions. Everyone will grow old one day!
AIR Canada staff, like the two ladies had left us with bitterness , for the first time in our travel and discredited all the excellent staff that were so helpful and kind to us!
Be Helpful and kind to make this world a better place.

Buggy & Terrible Customer Service

Extremely buggy and customer service is almost non-existent. Their live support chat says they'll be with you in 'just a few moments' but I gave up after waiting a full hour. Not only that, but the entire time it showed that 'Steven from Live Support' was online and my messages were being read. Talk to me Steve.

Poor app, avoid

Poor. I bought the app couple of years ago and now it has near constant reminders pop ups asking me to "subscribe". I paid already! Never again.

I have mixed feelings about Airmail...

I have mixed feelings about Airmail. I do love this mail client, but it's still a bit buggy in places. For example, it will sometimes hang when changing from one folder to another. A small thing I know, but not to be expected when you're paying a subscription for it.

My biggest gripe is that customer service is abysmal. Simple proof is to look at the help sections on their website. I've lost count of the number of questions that go back years and left unanswered. And when I've emailed them directly with a question that is so simple and concise my 7yr old daughter understood it, I get a reply answering a completely different question!

So it's one star for customer service. The mail client itself, even with being a bit buggy, would have got 4 stars as it fulfills all my email needs. But I couldn't bring myself to give it a 4 or 5 total star rating due to the lack of support and apparent lack of knowledge of the staff.

They charge a ‘one off fee’ so you pay it for iphone ipad and macbook and then they change to a monthly cost for accessing the email accounts and all the features it once had become a subscription service even though i paid already twice already. Moved to spark now and they are great

The app doesn't work

The app doesn't work! It doesn't connect any of my email accounts.

I tried to contact support, they asked me to send a screenshot and then turned off the chat!

I did not hear anything else from them!

HUGE SCAM
