Nightmare AC installation by untrained and unequipped foreign workers
Air Cond Care Malaysia prepared a quotation for me in May, valid for 12 days (contains personal data). After paying the deposit within the specified period, they increased the total price by ~3%, alleging manufacturing increases. At the booking date, they sent untrained staff, different people from the worksheet, to do the installation, without bringing the required equipment (borrowing our 5ft ladder and 3m electric extension), and other materials (plugs, PVC water pipe and glue) which we had to buy and were not accounted for in the last bill (part in fig 2). After a terrible job not following the manufacturer's instructions, they waited for the final payment to their company (Powercool Enterprise), which took time to respond with a receipt. Meanwhile, Air Cond Care Malaysia was asking for transportation charges, which had not been mentioned previously. The units were levelled by eye, didn’t make the expected cold (gas leak?), and at least one was leaking water (fig 3). Their ad is practically the opposite of reality (fig 1).
