Frustrating reboot times for last 3 years
Having the ease of so many countries of use is quite useful. The app is not intuitive, really. I purchased a second sim that was the same, thinking that was what the protocol was when the app notified me that was the option or a top up ( not a phrase I was familiar with in this context)when the current month expired. Now it just sits there unusable because since I have the first one already it won't let me activate it.
My biggest gripe is that it takes 20 to 45 minutes to 'reboot' to the different country! We travel to a different country every few months in our retirement lifestyle. Being offline for that long when you need to access maps, contact a taxi, contact your lodging or check on your flight status is very frustrating and makes the usefulness of the app drop to zero.

I just love using Airalo
I just love using Airalo! Since I found out they existed, a few years ago, I’ve been using in all my travels and it works really well everywhere, it’s absolutely simple, easy and fast to enable the e-SIM, I always leave the plane already with internet connection, talking to my folks that I’ve landed safe and planning my way to the hotel. I also think the price is ok considering all the convenience and good service

The connection to the cellular network…
The connection to the cellular network went set to automatic often produces no connection. When I turn off automatic, I can manually select a network. This works, but then the available cellular network change, and I lose my connection.

Always a seamless service
Always a seamless service. Have used in Turkey on a normal holiday. Have also used hopping from Japan to Thailand to Vietnam to South Korea and never experienced a drop

The network is not that reliable
The network is not that reliable. Frequent call drops, Loss of signal, weak network. Not satisfied with the network tie up. When complaints are lodged, the process is too lengthy.
