Avoid Hakan Doganay

I had a very bad experience with hakan Doganay (AHD clinic).

One of the key things about hair restoration is the need to preserve donor hair for future hair loss. I unfortunately went for a small procedure for 800 grafts , however this doctor and his team left me very scarred damaging a lot of my donor hair likely due to either one of the following:
- techs performing much of the procedure
- too large extraction needles
- poor technique

In fact the procedure was so poor I also had scarring in the recipient area.

There were a number of red flags before the surgery
- when I went for the consultation they gave me this tiny mirror and draw the hairline which I had to hold while helping draw it on, rather than a proper mirror on the wall.
- in their emails before the procedure they told me the doctor performed only 1/2 procedures a day but when I arrived the patient coordinator told me they perform 4/5.

I went to Hakan Doganay because he was recommended by a certain forum, but he was subsequently removed from this forum due to a string of bad results. Showing that it was not a one off but a clear flaw in his process to disregard patient safety to maximise profits. Sadly I and others lost a lot of donor hair due to his neglect.

Stay safe out there people and remember to do plenty of research.
