Pretty useless insurance.. you may as well not get one.. this experience was base on my 2 cats 1 a kitten & 1 , 13 year old cat . I was warn by my neighbor & friend, not to bother about getting Agria as one of them used to have Agria , but Agria always will try to find some kind of excuse not to pay . Well I didn’t think much about their advice at that time , as we just moved to sweden & Agria was the most popular one. Bad mistake, I have the same kind of issues.. always find ways not to cover .. and i even tried to dispute, .. no luck , no answers.. my kitten has pass now & not a single cent was covered…& my senior cat they are asking for me to renew? Seriously? ????A
Cat FB GROUP suggested to me to get Sveland pet insurance.. Will try to get that instead, as most of them in that group chat has no issues with that company.. sorry, I , i believe I should be honest with my bad experience with Agria.. don’t mean harm to anyone.. just my honest experience. Thank you

Thank you for responding, but I believe there has been a misunderstanding in how my case was handled. I understand Agria's need to follow terms and waiting periods closely, but I would like to clarify a few points that seem to have been overlooked.
Firstly, FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis) does not develop overnight, and my kitten was only diagnosed well over a month after we began our policy, meaning it should not fall within the waiting period. Agria’s assertion that FIP was present before the insurance start date is both medically inaccurate and not reflective of the timeline documented in my kitten’s veterinary records.
Secondly, my kitten’s passing was not due to FIP but rather complications from anesthesia during a routine castration. This critical detail appears to have been disregarded in your assessment. These complications should have been covered under our policy, as they are unrelated to any pre-existing condition or FIP diagnosis.
I believe our claim was denied based on inaccurate assumptions rather than the facts presented in our veterinary reports, and I am requesting a thorough review of this case. It would mean a lot if Agria could reassess based on the true circumstances to ensure fairness in this difficult time.
Thank you for your response and hope someone compassionate can revisit this matter.

Useless, if you throw money on window is same. I had 3 insurances at them for my cats, all 3 for Senior cats.
They never helped me with one of the bills and I paid more than 2000 euro from my money. The reason was that the cats are old, no kidding, that is why is an insurance for seniors, no? Is a complete lack of transparency, on chat they will tell you to call them, at phone if they pick up after 1 hour, they will tell you to send email...and the cycle continue. Don t believe what you see in their commercial that you can interrupt the insurances at any moment. I tried to close those insurances for 4-5 months, finally after the year expired and they made sure that they took all the money they close them. If you want to feel robbed, you can use this company.

I just bought the dog the day before the insurance application from a Kennel. She had a full health checkup a week prior by the vet and was as healthy as can be. I was fully transparent in the insurance application and wrote she had blood in her poop once after buying her. The kennel said that's normal when the dog is adapting to a new home and schedule. It also only happened once. But the insurance gave me a limited insurance for 6 months after which I could apply for omprövning... Absolutely ridiculous. And one wouldn't see it without reading the whole insurance letter. I quickly got another insurance that obviously covers my dog fully without any hidden limitations.

They were fabulous and took care of the claim, replying to the vet instantly to handle the costs and were so helpful throughout the rather traumatic time, I didn’t have to worry about the insurance or making the claims - they handled it quickly with the vet, no questions asked so I could focus on my dog and getting her well again. Cannot recommend them enough ☺️

It was quick and easy to sign up, but then it took two weeks to get back to me about getting a vet's certificate for my dog, and then another three weeks to process it.

Worst insurance company for dogs. Called to change my plan. You are locked in one year at a time. Tried sending in multiple bills that are supposed to be covered under my plan- I’m constantly denied. My vet has told me to leave them as soon as possible. May cannot come soon enough. A waste of money (700 + sek a month) for absolutely nothing.
Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere for a reliable, and an insurance company that doesn’t tell you that they cannot “help you”.
Avoid at all costs.

If you want to throw money on window, then this insurance company is the best way to do it.
I have 3 animals insured at them, I had problems with 2 of them, and surprises I paid almost 4000 euro from my pocket when they got sick.
They didn t even payed a visit to the Veterinary, medicine or something, nothing.
I submitted the claim, online is appearing as closed, but no response, so I called them. After waiting one hour in the phone I got a response that your cat had problems with the tooths because is old. No kidding, is she?? That is why I paid insurance for Senior and you charged me more, because she is 13 years.
Another response was that Your cat had problems with the colon, and we don t pay because she was puking in the past. She was puking 5 years ago from food, I ve been to a doctor, changed the food and that was all. From then she pasted thru the hands of at least 10 doctors that said that she is ok.That cat flights from Romania to Qatar, from Qatar to Dubai, Dubai-Romania, Romania-Sweden and every time I had to check her at least 2 times in each country to be able to fly and when I had to registered in the country where I moved. Plus 5-6 annual checks, so before this 13 times she passed all the checks without any pb.
Agria, I don t know how you got this rating, but I tell you for sure when it is to take money you take with both hands, when the client is in trouble, he is ALONE.
Depending on your response I was thinking to insure my dog, but noo, you just lost 4 animals insured. I am searching for an insurance company serious to insure all my properties and my pets pets.
If you are looking for an insurance company my advice is don t choose this one, they are only takers, I personally feel robbed, was better if I put every month the money that I paid in a jar and at first problem to use them, at least I would had something.

Absolutely no trust in this company who will gladly take your money but not pay anything when required! To start with they would not once speak or inform us of what was happening. They refused to let us speak to anyone handling our case. They simply avoided all our phone calls and told us you will receive a text the next day. Never did. They have created a situation where they implied that a previous illness weeks before the actual illness is linked and as this was in a kitten in which we had new insurance then the insurance was not valid even though it was a date in which it was. They refuse to accept the medical experts diagnosis and somehow make there own. How can they ignore what the vetinary expert is stating and create their very own story to suit themselves so they don't have to pay.
Believe me that my girlfriend had been impacted traumatized and caused undue stress by this company. They have not even the decency to discuss the case with us over weeks and inform us of any possible issues. As my partner was in much distress over our ill kitten then to have so called full insurance and be treated like this is disgusting. They are just able to make there own decisions and not follow any rules or show any level of customer care. They had closed our case and refused to pay without even talking to us or asking for any other information or paperwork.
NEVER Pay these people for insurance as they simply don't care and act with any honesty. I remember my girlfriend assuring me that we have full insurance and that was nothing to be concerned with.
They have not still let us speak directly with the person or persons handling our case and only after closing the case did they write some nonsense about their own diagnosis in our case. Complete fraud to be treated like this and now I have a huge financial crisis as they did not insure our animal as they stated they would.
