A neighbor moved in and Affordable movers Novi hit my truck and caused $4000 on top of it being a hit and run they refused to give any insurance information called the cops and in the report it gave an insurance company called and they had no records of affordable movers or the driver they named tried to take them to court and they cannot serve a suit # that has nobody in it Ai says affordable movers are high likely to commit fraud and likely not able to pursue them so unfortunately I have to go after a single mom to collect my damages!

Very inexperienced. Broke a piece of furniture and now don’t answer messages

If I could put a negative I would. Scammed me out of $100 deposit. Random men showed up to move us. Mike was the worst. NO COMMUNICATION. DO NOT USE THEM.

Never showed up and they left me stranded. Would not recommend. They owe me a $700 refund!!

They showed up, tried to jack up the price. I refused without an explanation. The owner wouldn’t answer my calls or explain. He told the movers to leave and to tell me that he was coming to talk to me. I knew it was a lie. He was too cowardly to answer my calls.

I was quoted $1200 and ended up paying $2495. I guess I misunderstood what I bought, because I thought that I had purchased a service that would pack, move, and unpack my goods. Instead, two very young men showed up and asked where the nearest Bunnings was, then left. They returned and began packing, then stacked most of my chattel in the garage and left.

I just unpacked my turntable, which is now ruined because they packed it vertically. It was packed with ZZ Top's "Tres Hombres" on it, which is now scratched.

My red wine was boxed and left in the heat all day. I haven't opened any of it yet, but I am not optimistic.

I don't know where my cutlery or bedding or Nintendo Switch is. I hope that it is somewhere in the pile of boxes in my garage.

Five years ago, a quack dentist broke my rear right molar and I had to have emergency endodontic surgery at a more qualified dental practice. This experience, in which I don't know where my stuff is and I keep finding broken stuff after this move, reminds me of that.

The house that I was moving out of still has many things in it that must be moved. I anticipate that I will have to spend ten to twelve hours completing my move.

I regret using this business and I recommend it only to those who enjoy the destruction and loss of their property.

If I could just give a negative tripple zero, I would. The most dodgy movers I have ever used. They broke our beautiful furniture and claimed it was already broken! Then they over priced us and yet would not leave until they had full payment of their overpriced invoice. They DON’T give you the real invoice before the job, they give it to you AFTER the job and demand you pay immediately! Beware, they are a sham. They’re not to be trusted. They don’t have a clue about moving people’s things. No proper equipment to handle items properly. They waste time on phones all the time. Don’t be tempted by their name of “affordable” because they will break your stuff and make you pay heavily! You are better off going for real registered movers. In the long run, they’re cheaper than these dodgy scams.

They were on time , polite and with the best price. I am shocked at the low reviews because they did a fantastic job for me.

Used them twice with regret both times.
First time - clearly identified that packing would be necessary during the booking. The movers rocked up without packing gear, boxes etc. disappeared for 1.5 hours to get the packing gear. Couldn't fit everything in the truck so we had to do a couple of trips ourselves. Basically told it was our problem.
Second time - Movers were 6 hours late. Our stuff was poorly packed, broken, handled with no care whatsoever. Most of our nice stuff was smashed which wasnt nice.

Spoke on the phone. Mick was very rude and raised his voice. Again, basically telling me it was my issue and insurance would cover it. He has provided no information about how to claim.

Zero Stars. you are better off moving yourself, choosing anyone else. I have since learnt that they have been in previous trouble with fairwork.

Buyer beware - Overpriced, forced to pay and sign documents saying no damage before our furniture would be unloaded.

9now have an article on how bad these guys are. With no interest in rectifying any issues consumers have.

Dodgy operators - owner investigated by Current Affair and taken to court for ripping people off.

A day late- I lost a days pay, no apologies, no shrink wrap- they ‘forgot to pack it’, had to stop the job to go to Bunnings, couldn’t find what they needed so did 2 trips not one, so they could reuse the blankets- I ended up paying for them to go to Bunnings! Didn’t automatically set things up- had to ask, when they did it was dodgy. Told I could leave things in the drawers etc, on the day they told me to empty the entire contents! No automatic blanket use, transport mattresses just as they are, acted like I was crazy cause I didn’t want that. Complaining about me wanting my furniture where I wanted it, n not just where they decided to drop it, then at the end of the day…I’m intimidated and bullied by the owner ‘John’, on the phone, actually feared for my safety with one of the workers, and was charged $500 more than quoted. I paid it because of the intimidation- plus they knew where I lived.
The owner ‘John’ whose real name is Rahul Nagpal, has a long and nasty legal history of dodgy and illegal business practices.
Do your homework, don’t just go by what a few google reviews say- I’ve read that Rahul actually pays people to leave good reviews. Check it out for yourself.

Oh My God. These guys were very professional courteous. Omar and Sebastian are the best. The customer Rep John is a very friendly and professional guy. I cannot say enough

don't Just Don't or you will regret it forever they are total scammers

Used the ones in Brisbane, asked for quote to move queen bed, dismantled, mattress, empty chest of drawers, fridge, freezer, washing machine, table x 2 and 4 chairs and 3 seater sofa bed. Quoted verbally $580 and asked for 100 up front. I asked so the whole move my daughter will need to pay balance of $477.78 , taking into account the rate of $174 per hour min 2 hrs and call out fee. The man "John" said yes.
Today they turned uo with a broken lift on tailgate of truck. Said my daughter had to empty freezer and took 90 mins to load above items on the truck, they needed help from my son in law with sofa , most was in the garage ready to go.
Once got to destination which was 13 mins away, they demanded payment of $682 and said unless paid they will not unload.
I called and "John argued that it was a minimum of 3 hours and one hour call out , then when I challenged him, changed the story to min 4 hrs. I was appalled at this blatent rip off of my daughter who is 20 and an apprentice mechanic with limited funds. Avoid this company at all cost or get a written quote if you want to use these cowboys.

I called them just for a quote and they haven't stopped bombarding me with messages to get my business. UNPROFESSIONAL AND DESPERATE...

The worst removal it’s ever. Quoted $2,000 then damaged my apartment door costing me $500 and an extra $350 for a weeks rent till it was repaired by me. Then said I had 25 cubic meters of stuff when sverything i owned fitted into a 12 cubic metre storage shed finally wouldn’t take anything off the truck until I paid $4050 so basically robbed me of $2,000 and an extra $850 in damages and extra rent till I fixed their damages. I have put a complaint into the bank and will write the worst reviews ever for this mob until they get there act together. If I didn’t have the extra $2,000 at the time I would have lost everything I own. But rude when you’ve just relocated from a frontline healthcare job in Melbourne helping the public with the pandemic and coming home to qld after working sometimes 60 hours a week for the last 2 years. To have a bunch of crooks try and steal your possessions or hold them over your head to try to rob you.

Quite possibly the worst movers ever.

A current affair did a great job on this. I'm still waiting to have my grandmother's piano fixed from when they stole it and destroyed it whilst they were holding it to ransom and the police had to go and get it.

Don't trust this company saw on current affair, dodgy migrants send them back take their citizenship away deport them, scammers where they come from scammers now in Australia deport them, they steal your money. Damage your furniture and hold onto your furniture wanting more money all on a current affair and the owner of the company admitted taking more payment of $2,000.00 after holding customer furniture to ransom, the owner said he was wrong to do this. Don't trust see current affair.
