Paid for a Product, Got Nothing

I bought the product in early December, but as of the end of January, it still has not been delivered.

The delivery company, ArrowXL, keeps failing to deliver for ridiculous reasons. I complained to them multiple times, but they only say that AEG is responsible for the delivery and nothing gets resolved.

When I contact AEG, they simply repeat what the delivery company says, which is extremely frustrating. Paying for a product and not receiving it is basically no different from a scam.

I strongly recommend that you never use this manufacturer or this delivery company.

Customer support very poor

Customer support is a complete misnomer, as there doesn't appear to be any. I've tried to get help with a small issue but the AI front end is useless, and waiting for an agent to respond to queries is soul-destroying. Very frustrating, and it's put me off buying from AEG again. The product itself gives good results most of the time, but you can never tell when it's going to throw a wobbly. T7DBG860N.

AEG Rubbish

The machine broke down three times within six months of buying it from Wren to be fitted with our new kitchen. The service department kept saying it could be repaired when the engineers obviously couldn't fix after replacing the motor, the main control board and other parts. I will never buy another AEG product.

I BOUGHT AN OVEN COMBI OVEN HOOD GAS COOKER WASHING MACHINE ALL AEG

I HAD BOTH OVENS FITTED AND ONE KEPT TRIPPING OUT HAD ELECTRICIAN COME AGAIN AND HAD IT CHECKED AND BEEN TOLD OVEN IS FAULTY

I RANG AEG AND THEY OUTSOURACED A COMPANY TO COME REPAIR THEY BOOKED A FRIDAY I TOOK DAY OFF WORK WAITED ALL DAY TO BE TOLD WILL NOT BE ARRIVING THEN THEY BOOKED THURSDAY TOLD THEM TO COME AFTER 3PM THEY TURN UP AT 10AM NO ONE IN

I RANG BOTH COMPANY BOTH CALL CENTRE BASED OUTSIDE UK AND THEY DONT CARE

PACIFIC IS THE COMPANY

The guy who fitted the oven has chipped…

The guy who fitted the oven has chipped my worksurface and damaged a door.

I said that a double oven looked like a big job for one person.

His reply was that he was stronger than he looked.

Obviously not strong enough.

I wish i had gone Bosch now

Update : customer support are useless. I spoke to Suraj who told me it wasn’t AEG’s problem. I bought the installation from AEG so they are obviously not following UK consumer law.

Poor experience.

Ordered a tumble dryer. They use a 3rd party delivery company who are really poor. Failed to arrive in the alloted slot and never called to tell me that they would arrive way before the slot, so missed the delivery. Rebooking was horrendous, so cancelled the order. Despite their contractor having the goods AEG wont refund until its returned to their warehouse!!! Such poor service.

Oven glass door exploded

I got a shock today when the outer glass of my oven door exploded with a loud bang and despite being 40 weeks pregnant and paying a hefty repair fee, AEG are outsourcing the repair to Pacifica Appliance Services Limited with the earliest appointment in one weeks time. Extremely disappointing service after such a distressing incident. I expected an engineer within 24-48 hours of such a shocking and unexpected fault with their product. I’m due to have my baby any day now so waiting a whole week for a potential repair is not acceptable.

Absolutely dreadful customer service

Fridge/Freezer less than 2 years old, so still under warranty - freezer door trim split and fridge/freezer completely stopped working. Reported to AEG, and engineer came out a week later, said the appliance needed re-gassing, went away, said he'd back the following week. So now 2 weeks with no appliance. Engineers arrived, re-gassed the appliance, advised us not to re-load for a couple of days in case it didn't work. 2 days later the appliance again stopped working. Phoned AEG again, customer support helpline absolutely appalling, no empathy, didn't care how the issue was affecting us. Spoke to Complaints, they offered £60 for spoilt food, still no understanding of the issues being caused with no appliance. Engineer came back 5 days later to make sure the appliance not working (obviously didn't believe me). Now 3 weeks with no appliance. He's been advised to re-gas the appliance, Will be back some time next week. So 4 weeks no appliance, a solution that probably will not work, no apology, no understanding the inconvenience of managing without the appliance. Absolutely awful customer service.

Disappointed

Thought this would be my new favourite home appliance supplier. Very happy with the Tumble Drier. But, when it comes to the Cordless Cleaner Ultimate 8000 35 min I have, it's completely different story. Can't even find the product on AEG review page now going bt its specs- ridiculous! Product not as good and having issues after just over 1y of purchase(gifted). Unable to claim warranty as no receipt although registered online soon after I got it with all the specs detailed. Customer service not very helpful. The whole warranty offer is pointless then. Why bother registering if it doesn't work. I think I will turn away towards some other suppliers for my future purchases.

Second repair no-show

First washing machine repair was forgotten by the system and rebooked. Today the engineer turned up, didn't read the parking details and drove off again. We have been rebooked again, six days from now. This is entirely representative of the customer service we have received. I would advise anyone to avoid buying from aeg at any reasonable cost.

Combi oven

I bought 5 new AEG appliances for my new kitchen, a considerable investment in this company. The combination oven (microwave element) has never worked despite already 3 visits from the engineer. A fourth visit is already scheduled for next week. Customer service has been dire and totally unhelpful. I still do not have a functioning oven: it is evidently a faulty appliance but AEG refuse to replace it. Each time the engineer is booked there is a time lag of at least a week and there is no consideration that time has to be taken off work for each visit. In addition, I bought the appliances in May but they were only installed mid December due to builders being busy. Nonetheless, AEG have set the warranty from May (7 months prior to installation). I have raised this but been ignored. Please do not purchase anything from this company: if anything goes wrong, you have absolutely no support.

I bought a premium AEG induction…

I bought a premium AEG induction cooker. Weeks after the short warranty period ended it turned out to have a dangerous fault and the overheat protection didn't work. AEG washed their hands. For a premium product charging premium prices this is unacceptable. I will never buy another AEG product. I may as well have bought anything elses and saved the difference.

Not impressed; poor top coat on hob

Bought an electrical ceramic hob as a replacement for induction of a different brand; it’s a regret.
The hob takes way longer to get hot/boil water than previous one; but I can adjust my cooking to that. What is difficult to get by is the cleaning - while the support suggested to spray water and allow it to soften burns - the hob makes noise even when I clean it with damp cloth let alone spraying water. Other suggestion was to use scraper - I haven’t used it yet, no other harsh cleaning, but already have some scratches and that is less than 2 months of use. When complained about the top coating to AEG, they suggested to get back to a retailer as only cover technical & mechanical faults; I guess a poor top coat goes by the default setting of theirs.
Not impressed given the fact there are other cheaper alternatives.

Very poor quality and service

Multiple appliances bought. The induction hob 'sensboil' feature failed immediately and took 3 visits to fix. Two hinges on freezer compartments failed within weeks. This was reported to the engineers who attended to fix the hob. They each said they would organise replacement parts buy did nothing. Finally went direct to AEG and they are refusing to replace these parts! In summary, poor service, poor quality.

AEG non existent customer services

Our oven broke Down on Boxing Day no one from aeg could come out until the 15 jan rang a national repair company they have ordered a circuit board nil stock at Aeg still no date available for parts now 16th Jan no promise on parts date either tried to do a deal to buy new oven direct from Aeg with a consession as the one is only 2.5 years old and hardly been used that was a total waste of time .So still sat waiting for the part with no hot breakfast dinner or tea will never buy another Aeg product there service is non existent the company should be ashamed of themselves. I think I will have to cancel the repair and order a new Hotpoint built in oven with 10 years free warranty. AEG ticket ref 493330.
