Paid for a repair, it wasn't cheap and when the engineer came they did nothing. Very poor communication by the AEG worker who obviously had no idea what he was doing. When I contacted them, put me on... See more

One of the worse customer service I…
One of the worse customer service I have ever experienced!!!
I ordered a washing machine on Friday 13th March and tried to cancel the very next day, but their phone lines were unreachable and their chat service wasn’t working during their working hours. It took repeated attempts just to get through on Monday 15th March to cancel.
Since then, I’ve had to chase multiple times and I’m am still waiting for my refund!!! This level of service is completely unacceptable specially from a reputable company like AEG. Taking money is easy but returning it clearly is not!!! Avoid at all costs.
dont garantee repairs
We have had a microwave built in style that cost aropund £1000 and after 2 years it went wrong so paid to them to fix it, it went wrong with the same problem after 8 months and they said its pnly covered for 3 months, when we pointed out there own website says 12 months on parts they then said its just parts and we need to pay the labour, we are now heading to court, do not buy this rubbish, i have the same system in work with siemens and its 10plus years old and never had an issue the re stuff is very poor!
I had an AEG integrated dishwasher…
I had an AEG integrated dishwasher which failed twice within just two years. The most recent fault was diagnosed by an engineer as a blown PCB, with a repair cost of around £350 — almost the price of a new appliance — and only a one-month guarantee on the repair.
This clearly raises concerns about the durability and reliability of the product. A dishwasher is a major household appliance and should reasonably last many years without repeated failures.
Given the cost of repair and the risk of further issues, I had no choice but to replace the unit entirely.
Overall, very poor reliability and not what I would expect from a brand like AEG. I would not recommend based on my experience.
AEG customer service is extremely rude and arrogant , despite of having known issues they didn't help to resolve the issue
I ordered a 9000 ComfortLift Dishwasher…
I ordered a 9000 ComfortLift Dishwasher 60cm direct from AEG. At the time there was promotion on which saved a lot of money.
They delivered the machine and placed it in the kitchen and took away the old machine that we had, which was also AEG. I did not have disconnect or connect services as I did this myself.
I forgot to review the machine at the time, but as a number of months have past it has allowed for a realistic review. The ComfortLift is a very useful feature especially when you get older but it does make filling the salt up a little tricky though.
Other than that, it is a very good machine that has not let us down once and cleans without fuss. Not cheap, but for us it was worth the outlay.
Came to fix a Faulty downdraft hood
Came to fix a Faulty downdraft hood, dropped it during the installation stage, damaged worktop and broke the unit. Awful appliance's, hob and hood do not talk to each other, hob performance very poor, I have had the all my AEG appliances' ripped out, include the worst dishwasher we have ever had in 40 years and replaced with NEFF appliance's, much better now.
Do not buy AEG products
I have 3 appliances from AEG purchased over past 2 years, their offices are supposed to be open from 8am (Mon-Fri) (Sat (9am) yet no matter what time of day message says office closed & quotes opening times, same on chat says off line & says same times, Whats app they don’t reply so how do you contact them with a problem?
Do yourself a favour do not buy from AEG look at other manufacturers.
Great service, good product
Easy to order, good delivery time and update. Product works well and efficiently. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another product in future
AEG won't honour my 5 year guarantee…
AEG won't honour my 5 year guarantee for my faulty freezer.
I bought a built-in fridge and a built-in freezer through Magnet who supplied my new kitchen. Magnet are fine but the freezer failed after a matter of weeks. I contacted AEG, having registered for what I thought was a 5 year guarantee and they were poor setting up a repair was less than ideal. Whilst doing this they told me I only had 1 year but it should be 2 years and they claim to have updated that. Both machines came with a 5 years free sticker and gave registerAEG.com to activate them. No joy and they couldn't do it either so told me to contact customer services which is actually run by Electrolux (I presume a sister company) and they have been so difficult asking for info then asking for more then the same again, finally as I could only find one sticker they claimed that was for the Fridge not the freezer. FWIW the sticker I stuck on my desk was for the Freezer as that was installed first.
UPDATE since I posted my review the company due to fix my freezer on the 2nd of April now tell me that the part required has been delayed and they will contact me later. THIS IS RUBBISH SERVICE.
Just don't bother
Just don't bother. Website lacks the detail required to make informed decisions, service agents don't have the knowledge when you call and customer service non-existent when you have a problem. Effectively left to sort it out myself and be further out of pocket. Its just lose-lose. Save yourself a load of hassle and opt for Bosch or a real premium brand, not a rebranded Zanussi budget brand with an AEG badge stuck on by Electrolux.
Disgusting customer service
Disgusting customer service. We bought an AEG oven which was faulty. We arranged for an engineer to call out to repair it. Almost two months later, four visits arranged and no contact from the engineer. AEG have said there is nothing they can do. Please do not purchase an appliance from AEG.
Product Name: AEG-L7WE7631BI WASH AND DRYER MACHINES
Product Name: L7WE7631BI WASH AND DRYER MACHINES
I have been struggling with this machine since day one. The sensor is faulty, doesn’t fill enough water so my clothes come out in wet and dry patches after every wash cycles. All the cycles are too long and the short one is more ineffective. The company doesn’t replace the washing machine but sends some engineers to fix it. I had 3 engineer visit none of them could fix it, instead they kept giving me advise about how to use a washing machine. The only option left is to replace the machine so I am trying to save for a new one.
No continuity
Our oven broke down 3 weeks from the end of the warranty. An engineer called but couldn’t find the fault so left. Three weeks later the oven broke down again with the same fault code looking like the main control board fault. Even though it’s the same fault AEG have washed their hands of the problem even though the original fault occurred within the warranty period. Not very happy will not purchase AEG again….
Treated very fairly
Treated very fairly. It was an odd issue and the engineers used his experience to solve it...

I enquired about a spare part for an oven i am thinking about buying and I enquired with customer service to find me the code for a spare oven shelf. The representative said to provide product code. I asked for him to work it out as i only have model number. He then referred me to spares help desk. Very unhelpful. This would've been my first AEG purchase. AEG have lost my custom if it means anything to them
AEG Fridge/Freezer Repair from Pacifica - Very Poor Service
AEG Fridge/Freezer Repair. The compressor was pumping continuously but not cooling the F/F so it was switched off. Contacted AEG and explained the fault. AEG offered a repair service with their agent Pacifica. We checked on how long it would take and were told that the technician would have spares available and should be able to complete a repair on his first visit, so we gave the go ahead for the repair. The appointment was booked for a week's time.
When the Technician from Pacifica arrived on the Friday he first claimed that he could not diagnose the fault as the fridge freezer had not been running for 24hours???
When told that the compressor was running non-stop and it probably needed new gas he then stated that he could not complete the repair as he needed "2 x sessions" which he had not been allocated.
But the repair ticket on Pacifica's web page clearly stated that his office had booked 2 x sessions for the visit/repair. He made no attempt to check the compressor or make any repair. He didn't even switch it on. He then left saying that he would order parts and Pacifica would contact us on Monday to book a return visit.
Does a refrigeration technician not carry gas and spares in his van - really? No service report left with us.
It seemed to us that he was not interested in even trying to repair the appliance and could not leave quickly enough.
No phone call or email from AEG or Pacifica or the technician on the following Monday or Tuesday.
On Wednesday I contacted Pacifica and was told that the parts ordered would not be available until April! Therefore the repair would not be completed until sometime in April That is not an acceptable amount of time to complete a repair and meant that we would have no safe storage for food for more than a month.
We have now cancelled the service but AEG will only partially refund the charge despite no work being done. I will not buy an AEG appliance (Electrolux company) or use Pacifica again - the service is disgraceful.
No way to leave a review or complaint on Pacifica's site unless you log in with a Google account - Why do you have to use a Google account?

AEG Refrigerator Failed After Only 2 Years – Very Disappointing Experience
I purchased an AEG refrigerator, model RCB76211TX, and unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing.
After only 2 years and 5 months, the refrigerator suddenly stopped working and started showing a red exclamation warning. I called a technician to inspect it, and he found that the main control board was damaged and no longer supplying power to the compressor.
The replacement board alone costs around $200, which is unacceptable for a refrigerator that is barely over two years old.
In the past, I have owned refrigerators from other brands that lasted more than 20 years without a single issue. It really feels like modern appliances are being built with cheap components and designed to fail shortly after the warranty expires. A two year warranty on such an expensive appliance is simply not reassuring when the product fails shortly after it ends.
The refrigerator has always been kept in excellent condition, so this failure is clearly not due to misuse.
Overall, this has been a very frustrating and costly experience, and I cannot recommend buying appliances from this brand based on my experience. I certainly will not be purchasing from them again.
Flimsy appliances, hob arrived damaged
Bought 3 AEG appliances through Wren. The dishwasher (made by electrolux) was part of an offer "too good to miss". Unfortunately it's very flimsy inside, mugs and glasses fall over and none of the plate racks fold down so awkward with saucepans. The glass basket that was sold as an add-on smashed a glass on first use.
The fridge-freezer seems very plasticky and I can see the door shelves and drawers cracking very soon.
The hob, although lovely, arrived with deep scratches all over. It was installed and will have to be changed.
The oven is great value and is easier…
The oven is great value and is easier to clean with the door being easily removed
