Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers consistently praise the self-paced nature of the courses, highlighting the flexibility it offers for balancing studies with other commitments. People appreciate the well-organized and comprehensive course content, finding it highly informative and effective in preparing them for their career goals. The staff is frequently commended for being responsive, helpful, and supportive, with many noting quick email responses and timely assignment grading. However, some customers also noted that feedback on assignments could be more detailed than just "good job." A few people mentioned that some course material felt disorganized or that certain NHA modules were tedious due to time limits. There were also occasional concerns about the course not fully preparing them for specific information on the final exam, and some found the lecture style to be a direct reading of slides rather than elaborating in the instructor's own words.

I recently completed the CCMA training…

I recently completed the CCMA training program and certification with eClinical with the goal of preparing for real-world patient care in outpatient settings and I couldn't have been more happy and confident about what I've learned. My wife is a doctor, but i myself have no medical background or training prior to taking this course. the most valuable aspect of the program was the hands-on simulation training. Practicing skills like manual blood pressure measurement, venipuncture, and patient intake in realistic scenarios helped me bridge the gap between theory and clinical application. These simulations significantly improves my confidence and accuracy, especially in patient communication and maintaining proper clinical protocols under pressure. Overall, the program provided a strong foundation for entry-level clinical work, and I feel well prepared to begin working as a certified medical assistant. Thank you Advanced eClinical for all your help and support, I'm so excited to use what I've learned and to refer others to your many great programs offered in the medical field.

Good Overall

I recently completed the Advanced eClinical Training course for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, and overall, it was a good experience. The course covered important material that felt relevant and helpful for preparing for the CCMA exam and for working in a clinical setting. I especially appreciated how it reinforced key concepts and gave me a better understanding of what to expect in practice.

That said, at the beginning of the course, there were moments where the use of AI was pretty noticeable, which felt a little questionable and slightly took away from the overall professionalism. However, as the course went on, the content became more solid and useful.

Overall, I would still recommend the course to others preparing for the CCMA, especially for the structure and review it provides.

The Advanced Clinical Medical Assistant

The Advanced Clinical Medical Assistant program exceeded every expectation I had and truly prepared me for real-world healthcare. From day one, the curriculum was hands-on, engaging, and incredibly relevant to what medical assistants actually do in clinical settings. I gained confidence in essential skills like patient care, vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and clinical procedures, all while learning the “why” behind each task—not just the “how.”
What stood out most was the level of support from instructors. They were knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in student success. They took the time to ensure everyone understood the material and felt confident performing skills, which made a huge difference in my learning experience.
The program also emphasized professionalism, communication, and critical thinking—skills that are just as important as technical abilities in healthcare. By the end, I felt not only prepared but excited to step into a clinical environment.
Overall, the Advanced Clinical Medical Assistant program is an excellent choice for anyone serious about starting a career in healthcare. It provides a strong foundation, real confidence, and the skills needed to succeed in a fast-paced medical setting.

Flexible, Supportive, Career-Focused Training

I recently completed the Advanced eClinical Training online program, and overall it was a really positive experience. What stood out to me the most was how flexible and self-paced everything was, I could fit the coursework around my schedule, which made it way less stressful to stay on track.

The curriculum was clear and easy to follow, and I liked that it included simulations to help apply what I was learning instead of just reading or watching videos. That made a big difference in understanding real-world situations.

As a student who is also completing the medical assistant course.

As a student who is also completing their undergraduate studies while preparing to apply for PA school, ACT's self-paced course has facilitated obtaining my medical assistant certification while allowing me to further my education and not holding me behind. This has opened doors for me as I will be able to better prepare to obtain my clinical hours for PA school.

Overall good

Overall the course was good with a couple of issues. Very well organized course with lots of information and great resources. Set up in an easy and well paced format with the luxury to complete the course on your own time. The course did have some bugs, assignments and modules that were previously completed would be marked incomplete upon logging in the next time. Simulation assignments were also added into modules after modules were previously completed. Not much feedback besides "good job" was provided on assignments. Overall would still recommend the course to others.

AdClin CCMA Course

Enjoyed the self-paced work style and flexibility. I also enjoyed the various means of presenting information and recommendations for outside resources. The formatting was a bit clunky and not uniform, in part due to updates being made. It would've been nice if the updates could've been made all at once or incorporated in a way that did not impact/ was not visible to currently enrolled students.

I really loved this course

I really loved this course! It was wonderful to work at my own pace, and be able to get it done at a faster pace! I really love that they help place you for your externship, and give you resources for building your resume and cover letter. This course works in the NHA portal a lot too, which is very helpful for exam prep! Highly reccommend!

This course was very in-depth, and at times challenging. With that being said, I learned a great amount of knowledge at my own speed which was very helpful as a full-time college student.

Highly Recommend for self-paced opportunity and externship

I liked how this resource allowed for self-paced learning, which helped me, as a full-time college student, balance my duties while feeling prepared for the MA exam at the end of the course and better supplied with resources to prepare for the national certification exam. I also liked the option to participate in an externship, which is a unique feature of ACT's program.

Great, self paced course appropriate for many learning styles!

I really enjoyed this course and all I learned from it. The self paced format worked well for my learning style. It is a great balance of reading, activities, knowledge checks, simulations, and videos. I wish there were a few more quizzes and there were a few questions on the final exams I felt unprepared for. I do know there have been changes made to a lot of the modules since I finished them so it may be even better now! Overall I recommend this course and am very thankful for how well it has prepared me for my career ahead!

Flexible, super comprehensive, hand's on, attentive program

I had a great experience with the Advanced eClinical Training CCMA course, the modules go super in depth and the all of the assignments were very relevant and hands on. Despite the course being fully online, there are plenty of virtual simulations and activities included within the course that really make sure that you are not missing out on any hands on experience. Within the course there are 6 NHA practice exams included (however some of the exams are duplicates which I found a bit misleading), and I think that is one of the most valuable parts of this course, being able to simulate exam like conditions through having access to several practice exams is extremely important. I also like how this course gives you access to NHA materials directly because that will definitely be to the closest thing to what you will have to encounter on the real exam. I felt as though the instructors were easy to reach and genuinely engaged with the students and their student support resources are extremely valuable. I really like you can use ACT to help you find an externship, revise your resume, and obtain mentorship opportunities. This is particularly important because your education doesn't stop just with the medical material but actually extends into helping you get a job. I did find that there were some topics that were covered in the exam material that the course modules didn't fully go as into detail on as they did with other topics which I think is one of the only things that could be improved on. All in all, I would highly recommend ACT's CCMA course in anyone interested in becoming a medical assistant and is looking for a highly comprehensive and flexible course to help them along in their journey.

Self-paced, Quick License for Gap Year!

This is an amazing course for students who need flexibility in their work hours, and prefer pacing themselves rather than following a set schedule. I really appreciated the combination of activity types such as discussion posts, case-studies (my personal favorite), simulations, videos, etc. ACT worked hard to give a range of engaging material to their students, which made retention of the large amounts of information more approachable and fun! This course is really what you make it, it can be tempting to breeze through modules and google answers, but ACT makes sure you are well prepared for the licensing exam with their practice exams and course final, which DO require good studying to pass. Again, so grateful I found this amazing course that I could finish in about 2 months where an in-person course at an institution would take me 8-12!

CCMA Course Review

Overall, I had a very positive experience with Advanced E Clinical Training. One of the biggest benefits to this course is that you get access to NHA services including simulations and practice tests. These were very helpful in preparing for the final exam. The lectures also covered all key material and included many images and descriptions which were easy to follow. I feel like the course prepared me well for my goal of becoming a CCMA. One small suggestion I have is to incorporate more review sessions/practice tests to even further prepare for the final.

The instructors seem to be available when needed and respond quickly to any issues or concerns. I recommend this course if you are interested in becoming a medical assistant.
