The hearing aids are inexpensive. However,they are one step up from amplified hearing aids. Very difficult to adjust for better hearing. Called customer service and tried everything to stop the whistling. Nothing worked. My advice would be get tested by an audiologist before purchasing the inexpensive so called”hearing aids’.
The lady that helped me during the fitting couldn’t tell me much about the Oticon hearing aid didn’t answer my questions. I’m trying a Phonak to see which one is better for me. Advanced didn’t do Real Ear Measurement to make sure they fit and programmed proper. They also do not give a trail period unless you purchase first, They just hand them to you say walk outside for a minute and decide if you want to spend $4,400.
After reading numerous advertisements, I bought the most expensive set of hearing aids sold by this company. I tried them for almost 2 years and could never see much improvement in my hearing. They only made a difference in volume and the high frequencies that I could not hear or understand were not improved. Don't waste your money like I did. I ended up going to Costco and really improved my hearing.
