Far too many non UK models there really should be a country specific search, or by miles (that works) and seems to be more of a porn/sex site than a photography site these days, Good site for models, no so much for genuine photographers

Since the required age verification/payment I am not going to visit this page ever again. Ridicilous requirement.

If adult photography and sex is your hobby or your job, this site is for you, there are very few limitations on photographs that can be posted. If you are based in London and the south east of England you will be well served by possibilities of finding a shoot, In other places it can be hit or miss. Though the site does get quite a few international accounts due to the site’s uniqueness. Quality of photographers and models vary greatly but what can the site do about that, nothing. You have to put up with the good and the bad and not have any pretensions. If you join you get a month’s full account so you get to know what you’ll get if you go for a paid account. Being a verified member makes sense too, it adds to personal safety. I’ve heard of the odd model complaining about issues regarding the occasional photographer but no more than on other sites, it’s gossip with no way of knowing if any of it is true or not. The site does seem to take action where it is legally able to. None of this should put you off this site or only if it puts you off other model sites too as I have found no difference in this regard. I’ve had an account several times and only cancelled it due to the frustration caused through where I live, there are no models within easy reach of me. Also I have mixed feelings about members content but that is a very personal thing so again, nothing to do with the site, “adult” afterall is in the name. Would I join again? If I required an adult model for any photographic project, then probably yes, my uncertainty is due to geography. As I said at the beginning, if adult photography and sex is your job or hobby, there is a good probability the site is for you. However, you have to be prepared to put up with the mixed quality content between very good, good, not so good, the questionable and sleaze, though sleaze might be the attraction for you. It’s a mixed bag that you have to accept. Would I recommend joining the site? Only you know if you are a secret perv or not. It is the sort of site on the whole that you join and keep as a guilty secret.

The best site ever! Where you can express your art without non sense censorship! much better than fetlife or deviantart! This site really rocks! I only wish optional membership wasn't too expesive and thats it but everything else top top top!

It's ok as and image display platform or gallery.... Sadly the quality of English Models is poor compared with Europe.......I suppose it's a very English thing to pretend sex does not happen? If you want to see some great erotic art and variations of genitalia it's a great site! My favourite artists are from Scandinavia, Germany, Poland and France! They don't the best with style and pagnash!.... Only my opinion anyway, no offence intended.

I just joined Adultfolio a few days ago and have found the help from James to be speedy and helpful. A positive experience so far with friendly photographers and models.

I consider this so called search for Photographers or Models website dangerous and should be avoided

Have been using AdultFolio regularly over the last 5 years. It's my go-to site for finding models.

I love the fact that both models and photographers can openly and clearly state what they are interested in. This makes the site a safer place for models.

The site owner/administrator is responsive and helpful.

The only site for more adult orientated shoots. Plenty of models to choose from

I've been a member since the site was founded over 6 years ago and after a slow start, it's now the fastest-growing adult photography site in Europe and North America.
Due to the nature of the images, some of the so-called photographers are nothing of the sort, but some due diligence on the part of models should make it obvious as to the skill and professionalism of those contacting them for work.
The site itself is simple and easy to use, with free and paid options, but some members may be surprised by the fairly light touch applied by moderators compared to other sites. I've found that complaints are handled promptly and that fake profiles and copyright issues are taken seriously and acted upon rapidly. Model safety is a stated priority and anyone found to have acted inappropriately either in person or in messages is removed from the site and banned permanently.
This does rely on members being more proactive in reporting suspect accounts and questionable behaviour, however, and new models in particular are often subject to requests that go beyond their stated levels. When reported, transgressors have been banned immediately.
Overall, I find the site useful and the overall tone of the site has improved over time as more serious photographers have signed up, combined with a lower tolerance for accounts more suited to adult hook-up sites.
I would recommend it for experienced photographers and models, but novices may be intimidated by some of the material posted and should exercise a degree of caution.

I was on the site as "Wilson the Photographer" on Oct 13th 2024 I deleted my account, I wasn't happy being on the site.

I have no problem with porn, and this site is for people who want to create and share porn, which is fine.

There are safety issues being on the site, if I share them the review would mostly likely be taken down, I think that says a lot!

Update 15/12/24:
On reflection and no relation to adultfolio response to my review. I never felt unsafe at any time those views came from others as in female models in conversations about levels POV* (explanation below) soft or hard, but those models continue to use the site despite their concerns for their personal safety on site.

POV* = Point of View, allows the photographer to be involved in the shoot with the model, general does involve some form of sexual active between model and photographer.)

I had no issues as photographer but a recent review dated 1st Dec 2024 "I consider this so-called search" maybe better highlights the problem.

I am a model on Adultfolio, and I have had mostly positive experiences. There are plenty of genuine people on there and providing the model uses their common sense, and checks references, and goes with instincts, they should be fine
I am offered shoots about twice a week which is the most I can do anyway.
To people who complain about the fact most photographers are looking for adult themed shoots, perhaps the clue is in the name??!! Adultfolio??
I find it run very well, and James is always on hand to message if you have issues.
Yes there are some weirdos and fakes, but once they are reported they are banned.
I really like this site.

This website has a lot of traffic and seems to be a very busy and popular website. It’s certainly the talk of the town in the freelance modelling world. However, it is predominantly orientated towards adult photoshoots and higher levels photoshoots. But that’s a given.

As a model who shoots lower levels I joined this website as I couldn’t see tagged images or images uploaded of myself unless I joined as member. So I joined to filter/monitor images of myself. People said there were images of me above my levels but in the end my leg was just being pulled and there wasn’t but I ended up being dragged into joining anyways by these stupid messages from instagram.

I was surprised that I did get 3 paid shoots to my levels although I am not an adult model. The photographers who booked me were kind and professional and they were all good experiences. I mainly use other websites for my bookings but people from other websites added reviews on there and among multiple platforms for some shoots organised elsewhere.

It’s a very good website for paid work and networking and it’s pretty easy to use.

Avoid this site at all costs!!! I was a member for several years, and yes I got lots of shoots... However James, the site Admin has lost all sense of well everything to be frank.
Money seems to be the main focus, anyone with a paid account is allowed on there and there's multiple fake accounts that are stealing money and images.
The men on there posing as photographers are FAR FROM IT!
There's even been instances where the photographer has nothing but an iPhone to shoot with.
I would say around 80% of the photographers on there are not genuine.
There's been a case recently where one man had hidden cameras in his studio - is this what is acceptable?
It's a seedy knock off of Purpleport and should you join Adultfolio, then do so at your own risk.

Edit - I deleted my account today, my account was not banned, this is site admin lying.

2nd Edit - the owner of Adultfolio has responded twice and tried but was unsuccessful in having this review removed as it was found not to be defamatory. I will not be responding again to the owners bizzare comments, and wish for him to focus his energy on improving the site in question.

I started some years back, and am still amateur, but its not for want of trying ? I find many of the models dont bother to reply to messages, some have not been active for years, Ive had several shoots but from models Ive found myself from private ads ! if admin would like to tell me what Im doing wrong ? please do ?

Excellent site and extremely well managed.

Probably the best out of the few left running portfolio/networking sites. No BS, no 'behind the scenes' shenanigans just does what its set out to do.
The forums are actually a safe place to be.
Of course, there's adult material on there, thats what its for!
Its great to be a part of it!
