We double booked and requested a refund for ONE booking, and recieved confirmation that this was fine, one booking cancelled and another was kept active. We arrived to our destination only to be turned away as the instructors had no idea we were coming. We contacted Manawa, who told us complaints and refunds were only done by email, and they hung up on us mid sentence. We rang again to complain, which again fell on deaf ears. We travelled over 30km for this activity from our accomodations and booked a stay in a local hotel. It has been two weeks since the booking, we have recieved no money back, and the instructors have recieved no money from us either. Complete scam.
Unacceptable customer service, no respect or apologies. Agent hung up on us when calling to complain. Do not use Manawa

I have worked in travel for the 3 years and this is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
We booked to do dog sledging in tromso of which I called and confirmed x3 before our trip as it was such a special outing for us. On the day we turned up and were told rudely that we had no reservation despite having email confirmation. Calling the customer helpline to resolve this they were useless, put the phone down on me several times and offered no solution. The bus had to leave as the experience was over 2 hrs away. The lady on the bus helped us and said if Manawa sends a new confirmation she does have space. That was eventually done and we thought all was ok. We turned up at the camp only to be told again we didn’t have a confirmation to which they admitted was Manawas fault by human error. How this can happen after calling to confirm so many times I have no idea?! We were explicitly told we would get a full refund and would we like to take part in another activity as a goodwill guest here seen as we were in the middle of nowhere with no choice but to wait. Only 2 out of our three person party reluctantly took part and activity which was sub par and disappointing. On return I followed up with Manawa only to be met with unacceptable extremely rude and accusatory customer service saying as we took part in the other activity no refund could happen. Very different from what we had been told. If we had know this we would never have taken part. Zero empathy, zero resolution. No solutions. I have never been more angry and disappointed with a service in my life. I have many contacts in the travel world and rest assured I will be spreading the news of our horrendous experience. The mistake in the booking I can understand the aftercare and customer service afterwards was unsatisfactory in every way - a huge disappointment and waste of money. Never again.

Professional, efficient, friendly staff. Amazing experience with the comfort of having such a proficient trainer (Mark Rowe) to lead me through my first SCUBA experiences. Following comprehensive, well paced instruction and a 5m ‘try-dive’, the underwater museum (12m) added much value to the challenge and thrill of my initiation in the sport.

They were really easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The guide was great, with good humour and knowledge. He was also very easy to talk to and very positive. We have had our fair share with guides sick of their job, but our guide on this tour seemed to like his job and made us feel good. They also picked a crag based on our experience, and since we were the only two climbing, we got to climb alot. 10/10 experience, alot thanks to our great guide Gerhard.

Manawa provides extensive list of activities of the place I visited in South Africa.
I chose two activities which went very well. Booking was easy.

First they let my pay 478€ and than they say that than they say that instructor is not Available. I need my money back asap !
Next day i still didnt get my payment . If i dont get my money today I will open a file against the company and that will be a hearing in the lawsuit . I've already done that.

The paragliding experience with Rui and Alicia is a must do when you are on Madeira. Great views, comfortable flight and guidance by two people who know what they are doing. Many thanks to them, obrigado! :)

Life time experience. Staff friendly and professional. They also speak English. We loved it ❤️

The sea kayaking tour from Pinarello beach around nearby island was relaxed and fun for all our family group of teens and adults. We had time to swim and snorkel at a small beach on the island and then a short hike up to the Tower was interesting and a great viewpoint . Arthur was relaxed and made sure the group stayed together. The scenery was spectacular and I’d definitely recommend!

My son and I had the best experience ever it was our 1st time skydiving and we will definitely do it again and again.Everyone’s service from booking to pilot and instructors was very professional fun and just the best. We loved everything including the tasty food from the restaurant.

Last year we did the Canyoning and the Hydrospeed activities at Trace Adventures. We really liked these. Michel and Raphael are two experienced instructors who take the time to explain it well and ensure you have a safe, unforgettable day. This year we did the Canoe kayak and Speleologie activity. Both were again super organised.
2 unforgettable days!

This is your chance to fly like a bird! Milhail is an amazing intstructor who made this experience even more amazing. We got lucky that the wind wasn’t good in Santa Pola and we went to Agost where we had a much higher flight with a fabulous view. This is an experience you will never forget! I absolutely recommend it!

The Rafting on the Vorderrhein with Swiss River Adventure, organized by Manawa, was an impressive and unforgettable experience!! Great nature, nice rapids, very skilled guides. I did it with my 2 teens of 16 and 17y and they too enjoyed it very much. Top!!

Booked the Quad Excursion for the family - I was a little worried that it would be too tame for my 2 sons (17 and 20) I shouldn't of worried, it was FAR from tame whilst still being controlled and safe at the same time. The Quads were powerful and well maintained, the course was challenging with amazing scenery, the stops were a much needed welcome to rest up and take in the awesome views... our instructor (Simon) was excellent, knowledgeable about the bikes, the route, the scenery, the local wildlife and the local history!
Def recommend and would do it again

Accommodating, polite and easy to communicate with even when they’re French native speakers.

We contacted Manawa asking for some cayoning near Thonon les bains (France). They told us we could do canyoning 30 min away from Thonon and sent us an email with the info. We made the reservation and paid 171 euros (57 each) and then the cayoning guide sent us the canyon location. To our surprise it was two hours away from Thonon!! We called asking for a refund since it was too far for us and not what we agreed on the phone. They refused to refund and kept our money. Beware!
