I had a problem with the price I was paying... I called ADP, they were kind enough to lower my price and I was told no increase for a year... sure enough I just was increased by more than 10% without any notice... needless to say this is unacceptable, there is no reason for this increase.

This company does not even deserve a 1 score more like zero. The sales reps are only interested in their commissions and give you wrong information. They pull the bait and switch on you. The reps tell you that you are paying $50-$75 a week into workers compensation policy and not indicating how much of that goes to the insurance company. I paid $75 a week a total of $3900 a year and they only paid the insurance company $177.
Now i have an audit and Pie is asking for $1305 , telling me they only received $177 from ADP for the entire year. This is a scam company and they need to be sued by misleading people to believe they are covered for the year and they are not. ADP is bundling their fees in admin fee and in the worker compensation fee and only giving back a small amount to the insurance company. They also have the worst customer service, no one ever answers their emails or phone messages.

Ever since my company switched to ADP for payroll, we now get our paycheck late at night around 9pm instead of 12 noon. For people living paycheck to paycheck, this is a huge deal. And it has absolutely nothing to do with MY bank holding the money or my employer submitting payroll late! They love to tell that lie. I wish my company would switch back.

We tried to cancel our account months ago and they continued charging our bank account. They wont refund the amounts. Don't use this company! There are plenty of other companies to use!

Wish I could give 0 stars. *PLEASE READ* *WORK WITH ADP AT YOUR OWN RISK* Our company has used ADP for payroll, scheduling, clock in/out functions, onboarding etc, and it has been a wretched experience. Switching admins and providing permissions is an ongoing nightmare and simply doesn't work. Their technicians from god knows where have thick ass accents and don't know what the problem is. The clock in and out ADP "app" gets updated every day (not even kidding), or at least 10 times per quarter which means our crew can't even use the app to clock in or out...During my demonstration on how to use the app it didn't let me clock in when I tried to explain user error to a group of crew members. Not even kidding. ADP should be removed from all platforms all across the universe. We are switching as soon as we can to Paychex, so we'll see how that goes...Thank you.

I have been an ADP customer for over 24 years, and unfortunately, the level of service I have experienced over the past two years has been extremely disappointing.
For many years, I had a good experience with ADP, but the Accounting Department has become increasingly difficult to deal with. Calls to Accounting are now routed overseas, and almost every time I call, I spend at least 30 minutes trying to resolve issues that should be simple.
We consistently receive invoices late. As soon as we receive an invoice, we mail a check for payment, yet ADP sometimes does not process or clear our checks for four weeks or longer. Meanwhile, the invoices continue to appear as outstanding on our account, leaving us with no clear explanation of what is happening with our payments.
After being a loyal customer for more than two decades, I know the level of service ADP used to provide, which makes the decline over the past two years especially frustrating.
ADP seriously needs to review its accounting and payment-processing procedures, as well as the level of support being provided to longtime customers. Customers should not have to spend 30 minutes or more on the phone repeatedly trying to resolve basic accounting issues.
After 24 years with ADP, I never expected to be this dissatisfied with their service.

I’d give ADP Payroll half a star if I could. This has been one of the worst service experiences I’ve had.
I canceled everything and was told the remaining fees would be waived. Now I’m being contacted by a collections agency that has added even more fees, and I can’t get anyone at ADP to help resolve it.
The payroll service itself was awful and, in my experience, a waste of money. The billing mess after cancellation made it even worse. I’d recommend Gusto instead—they’ve been much easier to work with.

ADP’s app and website frequently experience technical issues, preventing me from accessing my payroll information, with no indication of when service will be restored.

I needed to log in to ADP from my desktop so my lender could verify my employment for a home loan. I entered the password I know is correct, but ADP told me it was incorrect.
I selected “Forgot Password,” verified my identity using the security code sent to my cellphone, and reached the screen to create a new password. As a test, I entered the same password ADP had just rejected. The system then told me that I could not use an existing password.
Think about that: ADP rejected the password as incorrect at login but simultaneously recognized it as my existing password during the reset process.
I then created a completely new password and received confirmation that the password had been successfully reset. I returned to the login screen, entered the brand-new password, and ADP immediately said it was incorrect.
I repeated the reset process, only to be told again that I could not use the existing password. This creates an endless loop: the password is rejected at login, recognized as existing during reset, successfully changed, and then rejected again.
This is not meaningful security. It is a poorly designed authentication system that prevents legitimate users from accessing their own payroll records. I needed time-sensitive employment verification for a mortgage, and ADP’s broken login process made that impossible.
A company entrusted with people’s payroll, tax documents, and employment information should be able to provide a password-reset process that actually works. This experience was unbelievably frustrating and unacceptable.

I am disappointed that I can't leave zero stars. Absolutely NO customer service. In fact, it is almost impossible to talk to a human being. When you end your service, you may need to do a stop payment with your bank because they will keep billing you and make it impossible to cancel.

ADP has to be one of the worst companies to work with . They charge you for things you never even signed up for you, they take forever to return a payment but takes 1 minute to take a payment from you . This company has been a thorn in my side since day one . Now they want to charge me for taxes i didn’t sign up for . This is one of the worst situations I’ve ever been in , definitely don’t recommend

Terrible experience with ADP. The system is unnecessarily complicated, inefficient, and frustrating to use. Their customer support is just as bad—getting an answer feels nearly impossible.
ADP SASS is especially disappointing and, in my experience, a complete waste of time and money. I would strongly recommend businesses think twice before choosing ADP.

The most infuriating payroll system ever designed. Periodically denies you access, none of the features regarding holidays or anything else actually work, this system is about as bad as it gets.

Very poor customer service, extremley expensive compared to every single other company. Harrasment through emails and phone calls everyday

ADP has Zero customer support, ADP has replied with me contacting my HR, but it's not my HR that caused the problem, my ADP account shows ADP sent a direct deposit, yet no $$ ever showed up in my bank account, not sure how my HR dept is responsible for ADP's failures, everyone reading this review will now understand you have ZERO customer support and to expect the run around and finger pointing, typical business that takes no responsibility

If I coud give them negative stars I would.
Website is worse than useless.
Phone calls are endless loops.
When yo finally get a person, the circus continues.
Then they charge to roll over to another company.
I would have paid a thousand dollars to never have to deal with ADP again.

These idiots can't handle 'complex' payroll solutions. I work two separate jobs with the same company, one union the other non-union. Every payday is a gamble with these amateurs. Lost hours, union dues deducted for non-union wages while the outsourced tech is clueless. Clueless.

After 13 Years in Business, One of the Worst Customer-Service Experiences I’ve Had
I have owned and operated my business for 13 years, and my recent experience with ADP was one of the worst professional customer-service experiences I have encountered.
We submitted the requested information for payroll on Wednesday. My project manager spent approximately 12 hours working through the payroll process.
By Friday, payroll still had not been successfully processed for more than 50 of my workers.
I then personally spent approximately three hours on the phone with ADP desperately trying to get the problem resolved. After three hours, it STILL was not resolved.
I ultimately had to personally figure out how to pay more than 50 workers individually through Zelle, Cash App, checks, and other payment methods because I refused to allow my employees to go without their wages.
Think about that for a moment: after paying a major payroll company to handle payroll, I spent hours trying to get assistance and then had to personally arrange payments for more than 50 workers myself.
The customer service made the experience even worse.
Our representative, Ashley McCloskey, did not provide meaningful follow-up after our call ended/disconnected during the crisis.
I also dealt with a customer-service manager named Ellen. During an extremely stressful situation involving more than 50 people's wages, I experienced her as dismissive and, at points, inappropriate given the seriousness of the situation.
I have asked ADP leadership to listen to the recorded calls rather than simply take my word for it.
There was ONE bright spot: Logan Evans.
Logan was the only ADP representative who truly stepped up, stayed involved, advocated for me, and went above and beyond trying to help. He deserves recognition and is absolutely NOT part of my complaint.
What is particularly concerning is that this isn't our first recent payroll-processing issue with ADP.
Until the last several months, I had never experienced payroll simply failing to process in my 13 years of running a business.
I have now formally escalated this matter and requested that ADP investigate the payroll failure, review the recorded calls, and provide meaningful financial compensation/service credits for the enormous disruption this caused my company.
My project manager spent approximately 12 hours dealing with this payroll. I spent another three hours on the phone. And after all of that, I still had to personally arrange payments for more than 50 workers.
That is simply unacceptable.
I am awaiting ADP leadership’s response and will update this review based on how the company ultimately handles the situation.

You camt talk to customer service. I waited for message reply and adp ends session if they cant answer. It disturb my business alot and overcharges me for sometimes nothing. If you own small business, please try to avoid.
