I had an ActivFlo fitted just over a year ago and you can really see the difference on the shower screen and in the kettle. There are still bits of limescale in the kettle, but they're not sticking to anything, you can just tip them out. It took me longer to move the rubbish from the cupboard under the sink to give access, than it did for the plumber to fit it. He did it at the same time as a boiler service.
Since having an ActivFlo valve fitted to my house I've noticed less limescale on my shower head, bathroom tap and around the shower valve controls. My shower screen is really much easier to clean also. Does the job.
Don't bother buying a water conditioner from this company. I owned mine for a couple of years. It made no difference and is now in the bin. I've now fitted a water softener and it's made a noticeable difference 2 days after installation. For the price of this item, I recommend spending a couple of hundred pounds more and buying a basic water softener.
