Refused other job availabilities when refusing long commute

This agency just tried to force my friend into taking a job with a 40 minute commute for a low paid retail job at a petrol station.

He had already advised the agency that he wasn't interested in the commute for the specific job, but was still called in for what he thought was a general interview and talk about other job opportunities.
It was not.He was told there would be no other job offers available to him than the one suggested.... What an unprofessional approach by an agency - and a waste of people's time.

Plenty of other agencies around. I recommend to give Arhis a miss!

Need of improvement

I would like to share my experience as a way of opportunity for the agency to better manager workers.
Unfortunately, my experience was the worst I had so far with a recruitment agency as I literally was treated as a number. I was told of a CDD contract and then I received a weekly contract that was terminated because I got physically sick. The attention to the people from the recruiter was almost equal to zero, he considered me as a number to guarantee and please their client. I was told of the contract termination from one day to the same day and via email. This is exactly the way they treat workers.
