Unfair Charges and Misconduct by ACTIC Gym
I had a terrible experience with ACTIC Gym in Stockholm, and I feel the need to share it with others. I signed up for a membership at their Hagsätra unit located at Ormkärrsvägen 78, 124 59 Bandhagen, but the gym was closed without any notification regarding its reopening from the end of May 2023. Despite the closure, ACTIC continued to charge me monthly fees up until now.
I tried to contact ACTIC multiple times via email, but it was difficult to reach them by phone. They assured me that my monthly payment would be frozen on numerous occasions, but this was never implemented. I also requested the cancellation of my membership as I intended to join another gym outside of the ACTIC network, but they did not honor my request.
As a result, I had to pay for May, June, July, and August for a service I could not use and could not cancel my subscription. ACTIC's conduct has raised concerns about its integrity as a company, and it appears that its membership plans may be deceptive. Despite the reopening of the Hagsätra gym, I have lost trust in ACTIC due to the mishandling of my situation and the financial impact it has caused.
I kindly requested immediate cancellation of my membership with ACTIC and reimbursement for the monthly payments made for a minimum of three months (June, July, and August), totaling 987 SEK. Unfortunately, they did not respond to my request.
I regret signing up with ACTIC Gym and would not recommend them to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, and they do not honor their commitments. Stay away from this gym if you want to avoid similar issues.
