I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with Acorn2Oak Framing was very disappointing.
The order was delivered late and required repeated chasing before it finally arrived. Unfortunately, the quality of the wind braces was also not what I expected.
The machining on every brace was incorrect in the same way: one shoulder of the tenon was higher than the other. As a result, none of the braces would sit flush against the beams without additional work. Every single brace had to be re-cut to correct the issue before they could be properly fitted.
For the price paid, I expected much better workmanship and quality control. The timber itself is good, but the machining and service were disappointing.
