We got our shutters installed last month. I'm only leaving a review now because I've been too busy admiring them! We had a great experience with ACME blinds from start to finish. I love our shutters they are beautifully made and fitted! So worth the investment x 100 times over.

From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Although we were only fitting a small number of house blinds, one was going into a tricky upstairs area but the guys who came on site were very good. The office staff were also really helpful. Overall, the blinds were well fitted, customer service was excellent and all the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return to them if we need more blinds!

I had an excellent experience with Acme Blinds in Killarney. The initial installation had 2 defective blinds. The installer installed the bland reordered replacements. The defective blinds were replaced when Acme received them! The shop staff and installer were all wonderful to work with!

We ordered some blinds on the 1st of December 2025 with the promise that they would be installed before Christmas. They were not. I rang them in the first week of January to see where my blinds were. I was told there was a problem with the order but they would be with me soon.
They were installed on the second
week of January but one was taken away as it was not measured properly. However two other blinds
were poorly installed also.
Again I had to chase up as to when my blind would be ready to be
installed. When it eventually was it was still faulty and the fitter took both that blind and another one away to be fixed.
Its now over 2 months since the blinds were ordered and I am still waiting. I rang this morning had to go through everything again with the
lady on the phone and now Im awaiting a call to let me know.
The service is just very poor, communication is non existant. The really disappointing thing is that you have to pay in full. If I hadn't I'd be gone somewhere else at this stage.
I've asked for managers to ring me but to no avail.
Really disappointing and I will not be using them in the future.

Absolutely thrilled with my news blinds. Stephen and Ita provided a top class service and I'm extremely happy with the quality of the blinds fitted. Such a quick turnaround from when I contacted them to measure, choosing the blinds to installation. No mess when installed. A pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend 😊

ACME Blinds Douglas installed my shutters last Friday . Pedro and Mama did a great job . Good tradesmen and clean.

We ordered blinds a year and a half ago perfect no issues one of them has fallen down made contact with Bray branch to get someone else to replace it happy to have paid. Three phone calls two weeks complete runaround was told someone took over the franchise from someone else and they’re not responsible and whatever absolutely appalling service.

Adrian from the Douglas branch was an absolute pleasure to deal with,he was so professional and did an amazing job in my apartment,he was so thorough ensuring everything was spot on before he left.His attention to detail was second to none.

Excellent service and quality. The dynamic duo of Ryan and Pat were a pleasure to deal with. Installation was quick and professional . We are really pleased with the final result--highly recommended.

It was so reassuring having Ryan see and recommend exactly what we needed. I was so impressed that it took such little time with no mess to install. We used Acme blinds in Bray and I had such a great experience with them. I had to change the date of installation because I had my baby that week and they couldn't be more accommodating. Gillian was so lovely to deal with and Pat installed all the blinds in an hour the following week with very little dust left behind and we are delighted with the results of the blinds. The fitter arrived today he was so efficient and friendly. All this without ever having to leave my house ,fantastic professional service would highly recommend.

The service we received from Ryan and Pat is so professional, friendly and of highest standards. We opted for shutters for the full house, with 2 angled large windows. Ryan had measured the windows a few months ago and from then we felt at ease and thoroughly informed before making any final decisions. Today we got all our shutters installed and we are so pleased with the finished job and would highly recommend

We recently had Shutters fitted and Blinds by ACMEblinds Douglas Cork and we could not be happier. From day one the staff at their office in Douglas most helpful, polite, chatty, thank you Sue, Ciara and Sandra. Then on fitting day Ryan and Pat, two lovely guys, they did fantastic work. Ronan fitted the blinds, excellent they look lovely. I would highly recommend ACME. Thank You All.

Used them based in cork and found them rubbish. Initial consultation I instructed no blinds to be screwed into the pvc windows and all were screwed in to them and a story given about a metal plate in the frame behind the plaster preventing them from screwing in like I requested and was assured they would do. . I had no issues with metal when I tested my self and popped a screw in no trouble. Lead in time on orders was never correct always waiting. When our bathroom blinds arrived one was too short and one was the wrong color and a game of pass the blame started.. fitter blaming the man who measured them and him blaming the factory. This unfolded on a Saturday anfternoon and I was promised a call first thing Monday.. by Tuesday evening I had too ring the store directly who knew nothing about the mix up.
