I came to Achkar Law Office after…

I came to Achkar Law Office after experiencing severe workplace harassment, discrimination, and bullying, which forced me to resign from my nursing position. I paid over $600 for an initial consultation and more than $5,000 as a retainer, with the understanding that my case would be submitted to the Human Rights Tribunal.

Instead, I was provided with a draft that did not reflect my main concerns, particularly the negligence of my union, and was told I had to pay an additional $5,000+ before the case would be submitted. When I asked for a finalized legal draft so I could proceed independently, I was again told I had to replenish the retainer.

In my experience, this office took a large retainer, delivered very little of value, and pressured me for more money without fulfilling the original agreement. I strongly advise anyone considering retaining this office to be very cautious before signing or paying.

My experience with this firm was a…

My experience with this firm was a nightmare, they only care about their own pocket, charging the customer for not sense, they don't give you any information but in the invoice they supposedly said they did a lot, i think is their strategic to charge the customer more money, i didn't find them professional and they are extremely slow, one month to answer in total 8 months to finalize my case, of course the first conversation you are going to talk with Charles very nice guy that apparently answers all your questions but once you hired them, you will have a mediocre service with lawyers than can’t care about anything, they even read your answers, taking vacation or quit without any notice to the customer ah but they charge you as they really are doing something, Totally disappointed of this firm.
Conclusion if you have a lot of money and time to waste in this firm, hire them, otherwise look for real professional people
