Acellus Academy Reviews

Acellus advertised a Unit 7 for AP Computer Science Principles to prepare students for the required AP project—but the unit didn’t exist. After FIVE calls and emails, I was finally told the course description was “outdated,” with no apology or real solution offered. When I requested a partial refund for the wasted AP exam fee, they responded by threatening a “full refund” that would immediately delete my daughter’s nearly completed semester of work.

The patent/customer service team is amazing. I actually got to speak to a human and they walked me right thru my questions. My child's grades are great and she is loving to be able to work at her own pace.
Great program.

The whole experience with Accellus has been easy, enjoyable, and really convenient.

We were able to make up the needed courses so my son could graduate

I have 3 grandkids enrolled, and it is great letting them do work on their own time

We’ve been using this homeschool program for three years now and love it. It is so easy to use and all the curriculum and instructors are online. No books and no parent teaching except for anything extra you want to add outside of this. If you are looking for a great homeschool program that’s easy to use, this is it!

I love this school. My daughter was attending part-time, and it seems to offer very high-quality teaching.

Our granddaughter was struggling with public school. Having lots of people around her, was making learning impossible. Several of her online friends are attending Acellus. They often share the screen during a lesson and chat about it. She's extremely excited about learning again!

This online learning has been a god send! My son is an intelligent kid but struggled in school. He loves it and so do I! So thankful this academy was created!

My son enjoys Acellus Academy, I’m glad to share his grades are up and better. As his mom, I’m glad of the progress he’s making using Acellus Academy.

My son was struggling with Public school. We started Acellus in November 2025 and he’s done amazing. I’m so thankful for this program.

My son was able to work on his own pace. He accomplishes his task superbly. Excellent presentation of lessons that my son enjoys learning a lot.

Very helpful easy to my kid to work

WHEN I DO MY DAILY GOAL FOR ALL LESSONS ON ACELLUS IT DOES NOT GIVE ME PROGRESS FOR MY COURSES I END UP HAVING TO DO 4 EXTRA STEPS SOMETIMES EVEN 8 IF THE DAILY GOAL IS DONE BEFORE AN EXAM OR VIDEO I HAVE TO GO BACK IN AND WATCH THE VIDEO OR DO THE EXAM FOR MY WORK TO EVEN COUNT FIX THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The system used by Acellus is great, and both boys are enjoying it. The only downside is that we had to switch to homeschooling during the third quarter and our 7th grader got zero credits from Acellus for what he’d accomplished in school. I don’t understand that at all.

Classes are easy to understand, the process is easy to understand.
I am always able to get someone on the phone if I have a question.

My granddaughter loves Acellus Academy. The academy gives her the freedom to complete her work at her leisure for the same week it was assigned to her.

Kids marks went up immediately. Easy to use. Happy aboput being able to do more if want to

My son is loving Acellus Academy. He is learning a great deal at his own pace and thriving. We are so happy that we enrolled him.

Great program
