This is my second excellent experience with Accu.
This time I was trying to find a competent to mend a detachable footstool on an expensive teak garden steamer chair. I went to the manufacturer but they no longer sold this item.
Despite the fact that I only wanted two components that would cost less than £2 each, Accu went above and beyond to identify the right component, asking me the relevant questions to make sure that I ordered the correct part.
Accu even said that if the part I ordered was wrong (eg incorrect thread size) and I sent them my old part they would try and match it for me.
Amazing service for a very small sale. My teak steamer chair footstool is now safely attached to the chair and can be easily removed.

Detailed Website to Ensure you can order the right size
I was looking for washer to raise my rather heavy garden gate. Most websites sold the item I was after - washer with 15mm bore - but Accu was the only one I found with detailed drawings of their items showing all dimensions. This was extremely helpful and I ordered and received them, very well packaged, quickly and they fitted first time. Shame more websites don't go to the trouble of providing the information needed to make a valued decision. Highly recommended.

I'm struggling with ACCU
I'm struggling with ACCU. They say it's easy to order, and that they offer worldwide express shipping. Unfortunately they don't seem to keep stock of the most basic components like M6 bolts. I've been waiting for a month for an order because they don't have some bolts in stock. I've moved over to Westfield Fastners, who are excellent.

Accu had in stock the item I was having difficulty finding, a stainless steel flat pin washer of a particular size. The great thing was they are happy to supply just a single piece rather than a minimum number much greater than I would ever need. Brilliant. The service and communications for my tiny order was excellent. Very pleased.

Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible, on a 21 dollar order I paid over 20 dollars in shipping. That would have been fine but, but 3 months after receiving the order Fed ex hit me with a 24 dollar duty charge that accu-limited passes on to the seller, 9 dollars of it being the actual duty and than 15 dollars being FedEx's "disbursement fee". I was never made aware I would be responsible for this, I'm sure it was hidden somewhere in their cryptic terms and conditions. Had I known this is how they do business I would have never placed the order in the first place, now I'm on the hook for over 70 dollars for literally 20 dollars in washers. Absolutely ridiculous

Great customer service
I ordered 4 self tapping bolts from them. The courier service returned them saying they couldn't deliver. Contacted customer service who promptly arranged redelivery (they also offered a full refund) and could not have been more helpful. All that for 4 bolts! Outstanding, I thoroughly recommend this company.
