They have taken over 4.5 k money I could not afford I’ve had to start all over again and pay 3.5 k again don’t now what to do about them as they have just disappeared. Every time I up load more and more evidence they just kept coming back with asking for more and more to so they couldn’t actually lodge the application. This went on for six months and then at Christmas they just disappeared. No only just an industry message saying they’re restructuring the several other companies out there that when you find them, they sound like it’s the same person you’ve been dealing with.

Tragic

Tragic. Took the money $ 3.5k in November, was collecting all the evidence for the RPL and in January the disappeared. Disgraceful behaviour and bank cannot do anything since it was a bank transfer from my end. I’ve raised it to Fair Trading NSW as well as ASQA. Thinking about police report.

Took my money $4500.
Gave you just enough information, no follow ups when trying to find out if my course had been completed. Just smoke a mirrors.

SCAM!!!!Negative experience

An extremely negative experience with Accredify, characterised by a lack of transparency and contradictory information.
I applied for a Diploma through RPL in September, paying AUD 4,000 upfront and clearly stating from the beginning that I had no prior qualifications in the field. After submitting all the required evidence, including the mandatory entry requirement units, I received only silence and evasive responses for weeks.
Later, I was told that the qualification had been “updated by the government” and that I needed to complete additional units with an extra fee of AUD 2,500. After contacting the RTO directly, I discovered that these were the same entry units I had already submitted. I was also told that an assessor had reviewed my evidence and found it insufficient, which was later denied by the RTO itself.
My account manager April disappeared, many emails went unanswered, and the director Penny used unprofessional and intimidating language. No assessment was ever initiated despite full payment.
I requested a refund multiple times, but it was refused.
All communication stopped before Christmas.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. I contacted April Herrera before Christmas, and everything seemed fine. She told me they would resume operations on January 12th, but I haven't heard anything since. Friends went to check out their office at the address listed on their website, and of course, their offices don't exist. I intend to file a complaint.

Excellent RPL experience

I had a very positive experience completing my RPL for the Certificate IV in Kitchen Management (SIT40521) through Accredify. The entire process was smooth, well-structured, and clearly explained from start to finish.

The team was professional, supportive, and responsive, making the RPL journey straightforward and stress-free. They provided clear guidance on evidence requirements and kept me informed at every stage until completion.
I appreciate how efficiently the qualification was processed and delivered. I would highly recommend Accredify to anyone looking to have their skills and experience formally recognised through RPL.

Thank you to the Accredify team for the excellent service.

Accredify managed my certificate through a fraudulent college – now my qualification is cancelled

I had a terrible experience with Accredify. I paid them to manage my RPL process, trusting they worked with legitimate colleges. Later I discovered that the college they used — Harbour City College — was fraudulent and shut down by ASQA, and my certificate was cancelled as a result.

Accredify refuses to take any responsibility. They simply told me to “contact ASQA” and offered no real help or solution. This is completely unacceptable for a paid service. They were the ones who organised my RPL and certificate through this college, and now I’m left with nothing.

I’ve contacted the NSW Ombudsman and will be taking legal action to recover my payment and hold them accountable.

Avoid Accredify at all costs. They work with unverified providers and do not support their clients when problems arise.

Horrible.

I unfortunately had to report this company. They tried to issue me a certificate III (which I already have) from an RTO I never consented to enrol in. Afterwards, they attempted to issue me a diploma from an RTO I once again, never consented to enrolling in. Feel free to write an excuse below - I have the texts from Pauline. I also was bullied by the manger Penny. I requested a refund multiple times, it’s been denied. Despite the fact that they issued me a Diploma from an RTO that has been permanently shut down by ASQA.

Dear Monique,

It is unfortunate that you are not satisfied with the outcome of your qualification. As you are aware, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) are subject to government audits. The RTO you were originally enrolled with was cancelled by ASQA following compliance issues identified in such an audit.

To ensure that you received a valid and current qualification, we arranged for one of our partnered RTOs to reassess your competency. This enabled us to issue you with a compliant and recognised certificate.

Earlier today, Pauline from our team contacted you to arrange for a hard copy of this certificate to be posted to your address. During this discussion, you advised that you did not wish to receive the current certificate and instead requested the cancelled certificate. This has unfortunately caused some internal confusion amongst the team.

Please note that management has arranged for your valid hard copy certificate to be posted to you. If you would like to discuss this matter further, we encourage you to contact our office directly.

Thank you for your understanding, and please let our team know if we can be of any further assistance.

Kind Regards,
The Accredify Team

Accredify responsibility for ensuring Assessors are compliant…

I completed a Certificate IV in Leadership & Management via RPL and it was only when I received my qualification transcript and Statement of Attainment that I knew who the RTO was that had completed my assessment.
ASQA has now deregistered that RTO and then cancelled my qualification. So I paid Accredify on enrolment in good faith that they would be using a compliant Assessor. Clearly this was not the case.
ASQAs advice was to go to Fair Trading to get a refund or an alternative assessment. Fair Trading said that I needed to deal with Accredify. My initial communication with Accredify was never answered and then in a follow-up phone call I was told to deal with ASQA and the deregistered RTO. This is a most unsatisfactory outcome and demonstrates that Accredify doesn't care about their students and they slip under the ASQA regulations.
If you are seeking to enrol in a qualification via RPL you need to be aware of how Accredify operates.

Hi Barb,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how disappointing this situation has been for you.

To clarify, Accredify is a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) provider. Our role is to assist clients in preparing their evidence and we partner with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) who are responsible for the assessment and issuance of qualifications. At the time of your enrolment and assessment, the RTO was registered.

ASQA, the government body regulating RTOs, can audit any provider at any time. If they find non-compliance, they may deregister the RTO and cancel qualifications. Unfortunately, as independent businesses, RTOs operate separately from Accredify, and we cannot predict the outcome of future audits. When ASQA takes action, they communicate directly with affected students and allow them the opportunity to provide further evidence.

We sincerely regret the frustration this has caused you. While we have no control over ASQA’s audits, we are committed to supporting our clients and can discuss alternative assessment pathways. Please reach out to us directly to us so we can assist further.

Kind regards,
The Accredify Team

Excellent Service!!!!

When I initially looked into RPL to achieve my Diploma in Leadership and Management, It appeared to be an overwhelming process until I enrolled and was given Denise as my account manager.
From the moment that I enrolled until I completed my qualification, Denise was there to support me. She answered all my questions, provided excellent guidance and really was just a plessure to deal with.
Thanks Denise, you were great !

Appalling service

Appalling service, I spoke to a representative in February and was given information regarding RPL for a Diploma. Upon making further contact recently I was provided with the same information and assured the course was available for RPL through accredify. Denise then provided me with incorrect information and when I questioned her about it she told me to just write the course on the form, I advised her that the RTO did not offer that course and you cant just falsify formal documents. I then spoke to her manager the director Penny who has made escuse after excuse and told me the original person Pauline worked in a different area, however she is taking initial enquiries so she be well informed of the process. I have requested a refund and will see if that is provided. I have contacted the ASQA and reported this company. If my payment is not refunded I will contact the Commonwealth Ombudsman with the abundance of evidence I have. Please don't let these people bully you, they are providing false information for monetary gain and when you question them they bully and harass you. I have been receiving harassing emails from the director all day and have made a police report and reports to several government agencies. Now having to take legal action as the Director has refused to reimburse my deposit regardless of their discrepancies and false information.

Hi Kelly
We are sad to hear that you are disappointed by the service that you received since your enrolment yesterday. By what we can see this was only an incorrect enrolment form. You were then advised by Denise and management that you would receive the updated paperwork the same day. We believe was perceived as an unforgiveable error.
Apart from an incorrect form, you did not experience our service and the great support which Denise provides to her clients which is illustrated throughout our client reviews.

It is unfortunate that the team offered you a number of solutions, however you went on to suggest that the business is a scam making threats to various departments and staff members. It is clearly not a scam, we have assisted thousands of students achieve a qualification via RPL. So, we are not sure what you are referring to and consequently we do find this review rather perplexing.
We wish you all the best in your career endeavours moving forward.

Thank you

Extremely Disappointing & Unprofessional Service – Avoid Accredify

I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Accredify while trying to complete my RPL (Certificate IV in Leisure & Health) through Christa College (RTO). I initiated my process on 3 December 2024, with the expectation that it would be completed within the 6-week timeframe they initially promised. However, despite my weekly follow-ups since 23 January 2025, I was repeatedly told by Denise that my case was under review by the director before being sent to Christa College (RTO).

After nearly three months of delays and misleading updates, I discovered on 20 March 2025 that my application had never even been submitted to the RTO. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Worse still, Accredify ignored several of my emails or replied with vague responses. I only managed to get in contact with Penny (the director) by finding her personal number on LinkedIn — something that should never have been necessary in a professional process.

Out of desperation, I contacted Christa College directly, explained my situation, and thankfully they were extremely helpful. One day later, the assessor, Rebecca, personally called me and advised me to stop communicating with Accredify and liaise directly with the school moving forward. This only confirmed how poorly my case had been handled from the beginning.

Even after all this, Accredify has never offered a real explanation, taken accountability, or provided a solution to correct the damage caused.

To make matters worse, after I sent an email with my feedback, I received a dismissive and dishonest reply from the company director, falsely claiming that I had caused delays by refusing to provide documentation — which is completely untrue. All required documents were submitted and confirmed by Accredify back in January. Even then, the director’s response failed to provide any concrete details or take responsibility for what actually occurred. Instead, she stated that my file was now “closed.”

If you are considering using Accredify for any RPL or education-related service, I strongly advise against it. Their lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism caused me unnecessary stress and serious legal implications. Choose a reputable provider that values people, not just payment.

Thank you
Danilo

Thank you for your review Danilo. The RPL process is one which requires much back and forth with clients to ensure that we are fulfilling all government requirements from an evidence perspective. We understand this can be frustrating for a client looking for a quick qualification outcome to obtain a visa, as in your circumstances. Irrespective of the sense of urgency a client has, the account managers are trained to support clients to source all evidence on behalf of the registered training organization, to allow the assessor to complete a thorough assessment process. The evidence we provide to the RTO is something the business is not willing to compromise even at the request of a client.

Your account manager Denise was in touch with you on an ongoing basis and unfortunately hit some roadblocks when she requested additional evidence which was delayed in being provided to her so that she could finalise your portfolio.

We understand the pressure of your visa expiring and the associated stress that comes with this. Irrespectively, staff are instructed to follow a process and government guidelines irrespective of whether a client places pressure to deviate.

In contacting the company Director, I believe that she made all endeavors to resolve the situation on a phone call with both yourself and your employer and implemented the various measures required to prioritise your assessment. It was explained to you that being required to provide additional evidence to satisfy the RTO assessor meant that the process was drawn out by a few weeks.

We understand that you incurred additional costs regarding submitting your visa late, however found it disappointing that you felt that accredify should foot these costs on your behalf and on being declined you have left this review.

Irrespectively, we partnered with you to successfully achieve your Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, which has allowed you to achieve your desired visa.

We congratulate you on a positive outcome and wish you all the best!
