Sarah Danbury was very helpfull and informative very pleasant 👍

I cannot possibly recommend this firm. Some years ago, my wife and I commissioned Accord to write our wills for us, from scratch, and they made an excellent job of it. However, when we asked Accord this year to update our wills they made an absolute pig's ear of it. We set out, very carefully, exactly what changes we wanted to make and what to leave untouched. After 2 months (!) we received draft wills from Accord that had been completely re-written, against our instructions, and with more than half-a-dozen errors and omissions. This was after a will writer, a proof reader (!?) and Accord's agent had all read the draft and failed to pick up the obvious, simple mistakes. At this point we took the job away from Accord and within 48 hours had perfect wills constructed elsewhere exactly as we had requested.
On top of this, Accord's agent had discussed with us the advisability of setting up trusts to protect our estate. The discussions were undoubtedly very useful (hence 2 stars not 1), though when we were quoted thousands of £ for setting up the trusts (excluding ongoing annual costs) we sought advice from two other, better known and very highly regarded organisations. Both organisations assured us that the trusts proposed by Accord would NOT protect us in the way we required. I am NOT accusing Accord of mis-selling; but given the conflicting advice and the credibility of the organisations that warned us against, it does leave a big question in our minds.
For myself, I have more than two decades' professional experience of contract law (though not wills or trusts), and felt entirely at home in the areas covered above.

Sarah Danbury was extremely polite, helpful, informative, and patient throughout the entire process of writing our Will. She made my wife and I feel completely at ease, encouraged us to ask questions without hesitation, and ensured we fully understood every step. We really appreciated her professionalism and support.

Relaxed, but detailed, discussion about what I wanted, my questions were all answered in full, in a way I understood. No upsell attempts and when I'm ready to update my will I'll be definitely be back. Friendly and professional staff with a human touch. I'll be recommending Julie Booth to my colleagues.

We spoke with Sarah Danbury with regards to amending our “basic” will. After speaking with Sarah who gave us lots of information and advice, we swapped our “basic” will to the Tax Efficient Trust will which is will
give us more peace of mind and that our son will be looked after.
