Pam is very good she makes me feel heard in what I need. Also makes me feel very comfortable everytime I attend. I was very nervous and embraced the first time I attended but Patricia at poplar made me feel instantly relaxed. But since then I have seen Pam and she made me feel exactly the same. They were both very professional but very welcoming at the same time both lovely kind women. Cannot say enough about these 2 lovely ladies

Very helpful specialist nurses with a lot of knowledge & expertise.
Very welcoming and joyful.
I very wonderful experience to be had.
I cannot thank the staff here for their care compassion and kindness. Upon arrival I was reassured that they would be able to help me as my legs had holes in the skin on both legs and continually weeping, I was in such a bad way I just could not see how they were going to help me with walking again and just getting around in general. I attended every 2 days as the bandages and compression would be soaked through, within 3/4 weeks my legs had healed in such a short space of time I now only had to come twice weekly and was getting around a lot more. I have been attending there now for over a year and my legs are so much better. I now wear compression always and manage to do on my own which was just not possible before. Thank you once again for the support and kindness you showed to me I am very grateful to all of you.

My first time visiting I felt apprehensive about coming in but Lorna had convinced me to see the technicians. Ana was nothing short of excellent, she really looked after me and provided so much help and support, not just on garments but also on how I can take better care of my condition nutritionally. Super understanding and I feel a lot more positive in managing my condition and living a healthier lifestyle. Cannot thank her enough, as well as Imrana.

I had an opportunity to shadow one of the nurses. Absolutely brilliant work. Always looking at the patients as an individual not a wound and took the time to ask them about how they felt and tried to reduce the bandages as she possibly could to make them more comfortable. Fantastic job, very professional. Really enjoyed my day. Thank you everyone

I have been coming to Accelerate for over five years now, in that time my lymphoedema and podiatry needs have been supported and addressed through what I could only describe as a multi-Disciplinary treatment plan. The professional at Accelerate have come together to discuss my needs and as a result I was able to manage my conditions to the point I was signed off from Accelerate.
However and following surgery 13 months ago I came back to Accelerate to get the support I knew existed to help with my post surgery swelling, again the clinician’s got into a multi disciplinary conversation to work out how best to impact my recovery. I was measured and issued with compassion garments which has mad such a difference to the quality of my life. I want to thank Fran, and Wendy and Rhodes for always finding the time to be present to me, for listening hearing asking the right questions and seeing me as a whole person and not just the bit you are responsible for. Thank you all for proving this service. And the priceless advise given at each visit. Thank you

I was referred to the Accelerate Service via my GP in January 2023, as I have lymphoedema.
Since then, not only have they been amazing in arranging appointments, follow ups, etc. they have dealt with my lymphoedema issues brilliantly, including sorting the cellulitis I had and getting surgical stockings made to my specific measurements and needs which have vastly improved the swelling on my legs, they also identified that I needed to see their podiatry clinic as well.
Rhodri and his colleagues have been fantastic.
Fran in the podiatry clinic did a thorough assessment determining I needed insoles for my shoes, giving advice on type of footwear I should have and once I’d ordered checked to ensure they fitted correctly with the carbon fibre insoles that had been made for me.
She has also ensured a referral has been made for the falls clinic, physio, etc.
I cannot praise highly enough the professionalism of the team and the care they have given me.
Appointments are issued quickly, I’m copied in by email on all correspondence. Overall I cannot fault them.
I hope that more referrals are given to this incredible service from supporting GP’s

Stephanie has always been great to interact with, she is amicable, supportive and understanding. She never fails to live up to her role to support my 80 year old father with his ongoing swollen feet issues. She explains things very clearly which is great for us lay-people.
