In May I had the opportunity to visit DC with Noblesville West Middle School. Our guide Emilia was amazing; each place we went she was able to bring it to life vs just looking at a monument with a title and very well organized. Definitely worth the trip!

Our school has used Academic Expeditions for the past few years. Aaron and Jennifer help our custom made trip to run so smoothly. Very flexible and easy to work with. I am so impressed with their customer service and their refund policy for issues that come up for individual students. So quick to respond to email any time I have a question. Look forward to working with them again this year.

Academic Expeditions is highly responsive to the individual needs of all travelers, while keeping the good of the entire group in mind. As the teacher in charge of our 8th Grade Washington DC trip, without any hesitation whatsoever I recommend you trust AE with your off campus travel. Other companies cannot compete with their caring, organized and collaborative approach. As if this were not enough, the tour guides are amazing in their knowledge base, student engagement, and ability to form relationships with both parents and students in a short time frame. The home office staff at Academic Expeditions is another added bonus in the timeliness of response and always working for solutions that err on the side of the parent/traveler.

Academic Expedition is a game changer when it comes to group travel. I have been on other tours and the AE is the difference. The tour leaders know DC and the history associated with the Capital. They are flexible and address group needs. I appreciate how they can adjust our itinerary to visit the grave site of a family member at Arlington Cemetery or make sure we don't miss out on a special opportunity. There are so many personal touches you get with AE that do not exist with other tours.

This was my second trip to Washington D.C. with 8th grade students and this company. Aaron, Bob, and Tracy were so enjoyable to work with, and they do an amazing job of coordinating all of the sightseeing and tours. I enjoy the historical context they provide to students, as well as their ability to make things fun! I wish every field trip we took was through Academic Expeditions!

Our entire weekend in DC was great! AE had everything taken care of and our guide Bob was so great to work with! He was able to keep the attention of 49 8th graders and provided them with a smooth and engaging experience. Every detail seemed to be thought through- from the itinerary, to the hotel stay and meals.

This year I decided to take a great leap of faith and change tour companies. I had been traveling with the same company for nearly 20 years. Each year the price kept going up while the value and experiences kept going down. I am so thankful that I did it! Our trip with Academic Expeditions was hands down the best move ever! We stayed in nice clean hotels, ate at great restaurants, traveled on a top of the line charter bus, (that didn't break down), this year my students came back to school and couldn't stop raving about the trip. I can't explain how easy Andrew, Isaiah, Kara, Robert, and George have made the decision for me and my students to continue to traveling with them. This experience will never be forgotten by any of us. Academic Expeditions made sure us Floridan's didn't freeze to death by treating us to a play indoors on a wet and freezing evening. Forever, grateful for switching! Happy in the Sunshine State!!!! Already booked for next year!

This year I will be traveling with my 8th-grade class on our East Coast Study Trip for the ninth time. All of them with Academic Expeditions. They are by far the best academic trip company around. From the moment you decide on a trip they work with you and your school to ensure that the trip meets all of your academic, financial and student dynamic needs. They are timely with their communication, thorough in their billing and trip site coordination and their guides are phenomenal. All highly trained and relatable to students. I have recommended Academic Expeditions to numerous colleagues for their study trip needs.

THIS PROGRAM IS THE BEST. AARON WAS OUR GUIDE AND HE WAS SUPER AWESOME. I ATTENDED THE TRIP WITH MY SON AND WE HAD A BLAST, SO MUCH STORIES TO SHARE WITH OUR FAMILY AND MEMORIES WE'LL NEVER FORGET.

It was a great experience,and I thought that our tour guide has talked about everywhere we went to well.We went to a lot of amazing places,including the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument.The best part was when we would talk to the tour guide.He was funny and would always answer any questions that we had about the places we went to.
