Believe the reviews

Believe the reviews. Maria and her staff (Messalina) should be avoided at all costs. We hired Maria for immigration services two years ago, and not only is the process still incomplete, but once she received her final payment, she stopped answering calls, emails, texts, and WhatsApp messages.

She refuses to take accountability, constantly shifts blame, and never delivers on her commitments. We spent thousands of dollars with her and deeply regret doing business with this firm.

Please take my advice—and the advice of many other reviewers—do not work with her. She is the worst.

⚠️ Avoid at all costs ⚠️

⚠️ Avoid at all costs ⚠️

If you are considering working with Abreu & Associates (and in particular with Maria), do yourself a favor and RUN the other way.

I have never in my life experienced such shocking unprofessionalism from a lawyer or law firm.

I last got a reply on 31 of July and, as of September 1st, I am still waiting for a single update. WhatsApp messages were left on read with no response for WEEKS. Emails were sent in parallel and were completely ignored as well. They repeatedly promised to call or update me “this afternoon” or “on Monday” — yet nothing ever came. Excuses, silence, and more silence.

This is not only unprofessional, it’s borderline negligent. Imagine trusting them with something as serious as your case, your visa, or your legal rights… and then being ghosted for over a month while you’re traveling across the world waiting on urgent answers.

They will happily waste your time, your money, and your peace of mind. The WhatsApp chat history is a graveyard of broken promises: “I’ll call you this afternoon”… “Tomorrow the latest”… and then vanishing into thin air.

Honestly, I wouldn’t trust them to draft a grocery list, let alone handle a legal matter.

💀 Stay FAR away.
