I booked a prep day for an electrical course and had a trainer called Steve O, loads of useful information and engaging, biggest compliment i can give is that i attended a prep day at another large training provider that my company had booked, and this was far more useful, thanks steve, i would definately recommend steve at able.

I did Level 2 NVQ I bricklaying with Simon as tutor. Brilliant course with great instruction by Simon who has 40 years of experience for you to tap into. Looking back from day one to the end of the 8 weeks it’s amazing how much you improve and what you become capable of doing. Loved every minute of this course well put together and very hands on. It progresses you gradually developing your skills to completing projects that you’ll see on day one entering the workshop, but quite honestly you’ll probably think are beyond you.
Great course, great teaching, you’ll learn to competently lay bricks and blocks.

Ive just completed a part time, combined level 2 and 3 C&G electrical course. Our tutor George ran a great course, fostering a supportive learning experience from himself and amongst us as classmates.

The set up at able skills is reliable and professional, and I’m happily continuing my further electrical qualifications with the firm.

Just finished my City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations with AbleSkills, and honestly I don’t think I would have passed without my instructor, Steve. The electrical course itself is well structured and covers everything you need, but it was Steve’s teaching that really made it work for me.

He explained everything clearly, broke topics down so they were easy to follow, and was patient with questions no matter how many times I needed something repeated. As someone who started as a total beginner, having an instructor who actually cared whether you understood the material, not just got through the syllabus, made a massive difference. He used loads of practical examples and made sure everyone in the class was keeping up before moving on.

Would highly recommend AbleSkills for anyone looking to get into electrical work, and if you get Steve as your instructor, you’re in good hands.

Steve has been a great and helpful instructor

Ive just finished my level 2 electrical installation and had the pleasure of getting taught by Steve.

Steve is very knowledgeable and has a lot of patient.
What stood out most was his ability to explain topics in a clear way instead of just reading through slide shows / showing videos. Steve will always take time to answer any questions and made sure you understand it in a way best for you. Steve is by far the best teacher I had during my education time.

Big thanks to Steve I achieved results that exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for an outstanding teacher who truly cares about their students success, Steve is the man!

I did the beginners painting and decorating course which I really enjoyed , everything was very well explained and I learnt a lot of handy stuff. Only thing I’d say is that could have done with more printed material to remind me of all the hands on projects we covered.
