Only consider this company is you are certain that your home contents will fit easily into a Luton van, and you don't have any heavy or complicated furniture.

I've moved six times, and never had such an appalling experience. Usually we are in the new house by 5pm, getting set up. It is now after 10 pm, and I am awaiting the third van load. Oh, and not to mention, all of our furniture still in pieces, nothing reassembled.

I was surprised when Tom, the boss, said there was no need for him to assess our house to give a quote, but he seemed quite professional, and we trusted him.

The removals guys are nice enough, but they took hours just trying to get our sofa out of the house, everything takes forever, despite myself and my two adult sons having done a full day of heavy labour. Bear in mind the house we were moving from was less than 1,000 square feet, so this was not a big move.

My advice would be, pay the extra for a reputable local removal company. You'll probably end up paying AA one hell of a lot more than you expect, and you'll have a lot more stress.

Promised not to leave us 'in the lurch' but that's exactly what they did. Now having to pay an additional £500 for a man with a van to get the rest of our stuff. Luckily we weren't supposed to leave house on that date and had some leaway.
