Through no fault of 8x8 it took an inordinate amount of time to find a solution and many different communications, both by email and verbal. I know that a customer like me who has to deal with the IS... See more

This is worse company for business phone, its automated shut Sms service and most worse parts we always talk with human for new sales, and billing but not for technical support, support team never respond within few hours, i had no sms service since last month. Definitely looking for replacement for this service

Stay away from this company. We agreed to a 30-day risk free trial to test out their VoIP system, and they sent us phones. We received no in-person or direct help on how to set up the system. Unless you have a tech person ready to DIY their system, it will be incredibly difficult to set-up. Additionally, we realized our monthly charges were outrageous, and not at all cost-effective. You essentially 'rent' out their phones, which after a year or so means you pay way more than the retail price of the actual phones.
We ended up cancelling within the 30-day period once we realized how predatory and sketchy this company was. Cancelling was also a long-winded process, which you must be very meticulous about to avoid extra fees. We mailed the phones back (only one of which we even took out of the box), and are currently fighting to get our money back despite being told we would be refunded.
This company is predatory, scammy, and not reliable. Would not recommend.

Don't use their service !!!!,,, I very disappointed in 8x8 service. Totally regret sign up with them. My business was stuck with them for 4 years because my staff didn't know better and sign up with them. When I research about them I wanted to cancel, and even so they make cancellation process extremely difficult and heavy fees so you cannot cancel with them. I need to gather all their customers and file a law suite case against them.

Really regret going with 8x8. No call analytics with the standard package. Upgraded to Engage for analytics, everyone hates it. They can't use a call queue unless end user phones ring one at a time which everyone hates. Can't stress enough how much we regret going with this system, our IT department looks terrible right now.

8x8 was a good VOIP provider for my solo work but ultimately became useless when they cut access to SMS messaging - inbound and outbound with known clients in my contact list. The feature set is stale, I asked if they planned to introduce transcripts to call recordings with AI summaries and was told no. Really?
The end of our relationship was like a contested divorce requiring me to jump through pages of instructions on how to cancel the service.
At the end of the day, their account managers were always helpful and plowed through to have simple requests handled professionally. Their support team is not up to the tasks they've been assigned and are at fault for the reputation they've witnessed going under.

Dealing with Jordan Norchi at 8X8 UK has been a horrible experience. Unable to get a call back, calls disconnected after making selection, equipment order never arrived as promised. The company that is supposed to handle telecom for us unable to route and handle its own calls. I am just disgusted and feel I have no options left other than to post a review. Is there anyone that is consistently competent and responsive at this company? I have several employees starting work at home with no service.

8x8 is an excellent product for the space where it fits -Medium-sized business and CC's between 25-1000 seats). But if you've worked with it as long as I have, you notice there are little bugs and blatant feature gaps that have been there for YEARS. They always ask for feedback but yet never follow up on it.

It Takes too much time for the confirmation for the portig request. The 8x8 team connect with the vmo2 team directly for the porting request. If we port the numbers on 8x8 if the number's are missing from the ranges it take's more time for them to confirm us afterwards that it is the perfect ranges for this.

I never received a response for my request. Therefore, it would be impossible to give you a service level feedback other than a 1

8x8 have been providing a reliable IP Telephony solution to the business for over 5 Years and have always found the solution totally fit for purpose and the account/support of high quality.
We recently trialled a new 8x8 platform (Engage) which required significant account and technical support to configure the solution to meet our 24/7/365 telephony requirements.
8x8 continue to be a valued business partner.

8x8 has been the worst experience. The service never fully works, and now they’re charging for text messaging on each line. Our phone lines constantly have issues, but they have no problem charging our credit card on time. I’ve submitted multiple customer service requests, yet no one reaches out—just to find out they close the tickets without resolving anything. Really frustrating and unprofessional. I do NOT recommend this platform."
