I made a real-money deposit and activated a welcome bonus. I had not touched or used the bonus funds at all—all my play was with my own real money.
My balance grew significantly using only my real funds. I decided I no longer wanted the bonus, as I preferred to play without wagering requirements and keep my winnings freely. I opened the live customer support chat and asked clearly: “If I cancel this bonus now, will I keep my real-money balance and all my winnings?The support agent explicitly reassured me YES—that cancelling the bonus would remove ONLY the bonus funds, and my real deposit + winnings would remain fully mine. Trusting their advice, I asked them to cancel the bonus immediately. As soon as they cancelled it, my entire balance—including my real money and winnings—was removed. I lost everything because of their wrong information.
When I pointed out this was exactly what they told me would NOT happen, the same agent said coldly: “There is nothing I can do,” and refused to help further.I submitted a formal written complaint via email, attaching timestamps and screenshots of every chat message. After pushing hard, the casino offered a “gesture of goodwill” and returned funds to my account What they failed to tell me before I cancelled anything I was technically playing against bonus funds first, even though I believed I was using real money. By the time I cancelled, I had already wagered over €900 without knowing bonus rules applied. When they restored my balance, instead of treating this fairly given their mistake, they applied the full 30× wagering requirement to the returned amount. Worse still: what should have been around €300–€500 remaining after my play was treated as a fresh bonus, meaning I now faced €6,000 IN TOTAL WAGERING REQUIREMENTS before I could withdraw anything—purely because their staff gave me false instructions Misleading & false information Their agent promised I would keep my real money + winnings if I cancelled—this was a lie. They cost me my entire balance through bad advice.Hidden rules never explained: I was never told funds were being taken from the bonus side first; I thought I was playing 100% with my own money. They cancelled the bonus only to reveal terms that should have been clear up front. They admitted fault by returning the money as “goodwill,” yet immediately locked it behind massive wagering requirements I never would have agreed to had I known the truth. They've taken Zero accountability The agent who made the mistake said “nothing could be done”—no escalation, no apology, no correction until I formally complained in writing. Deceptive practice they guide players to take actions that cost them money, then hide behind terms and conditions which seems to change to suit them might I add.
I took screenshots of every conversation, chat logs, deposit records, balance history, and email correspondence. Every claim I make here is verifiable. This is not a misunderstanding this is incompetent staff/ai bot giving deliberately incomplete or false information to trap players under bonus rules they would otherwise avoid. 7bit Casino does not treat players fairly. They give misleading advice, erase balances when players follow that advice, then offer “compensation” tied to impossible requirements that only benefit them. I am still trapped under €6,000 of wagering through their own mistake.
Do not trust their support advice. Do not activate bonuses unless you are prepared to lose
Under Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations / DMCC Act 2024: providing false or misleading information that causes you to make a transactional decision you otherwise wouldn't is a prohibited unfair commercial practice — specifically "misleading action" and "breach of professional diligence." & operators must provide accurate and transparent information to players. Misleading advice that harms your funds violates licence conditions requiring fair treatment seeing as theve broken these a formal complaint has been submitted and casino has now been reported with all relevant proof to the gaming authority
