Dangerous Amateurs Who Claim to be Ethical
6prog's main co-founder is unable to answer the most basic questions about IR35, the way his platform works, payments and more. Instead, he responds by repeatedly saying "Is this a windup?"
For example, when asked about payment methods available to end clients, he referred me to a pricing page with zero information on payment methods. When I pointed out pricing and payment methods are separate things, he replied, "You have a lot to say."
He then deactivated my Slack membership, presumably because he did not want other users to see his inability and unwillingness to answer my basic questions about his platform / company.
There is no way to delete or cancel your account once enrolled.
In violation of numerous privacy laws, 6prog changed my account details - without my permission or notification. For example, they changed my username (and contact email) to "weed".
The co-founder also kept banging on about my website, as if that had anything to do with his company. He appeared desperate to change the topic and deflect attention away from his lack of knowledge and professionalism.
Truly ethical companies don't advertise services they don't understand, or refuse to answer questions about their products and services.
The calibre of individuals you will be dealing with on 6prog is incredibly poor. There is no way I would recommend introducing clients to this platform.
In my opinion, 6prog's platform is not functional. I believe that is why he couldn't answer my questions. If you are a supplier, your client could cancel your relationship or think less of you due to 6prog's incompetence. You could also face a nasty fine from the tax authorities (HMRC) if you rely on their portal for compliance. Be forewarned!
