Holistic Financial Management has empowered me to see farm financial planning as an exciting way of generating wealth for my farm rather than the daunting task that was left to the last minute or ignored in the past. Sheila Cooke is an excellent facilitator making for interactive classes where group participants can learn from one another and are stimulated by Sheila's tutorship.

I really related with the topic . Sheila is an excellent facilitator and educator. We received a comprehensive understand of the holistic framework which in turn gives a powerful tool for manage both agriculture and the rest of our life.

I attended the holistic management course. We formed a great study group Sheila is a very knowledgeable and serene teacher. We had time to learn, explore, reason ans discuss. I will carry on with the other modules. I just wish I have discovered holistic management earlier.

Super course. So are the tutors. For me it’s what I didn’t expect to learn is the added value. The people you meet and their perspectives along with the learning all gear you up to put your plans into context and practice.

The Holistic Management courses were very useful in thinking about the purpose of the farm and putting things into context. It makes complex systems more manageable to think about and therefore makes decision making easier. I can highly recommend the course Holistic Financial Planning with 3LM. The course is designed for online lectures and studies, and you get personal follow-up and interactions with the tutor and the other students. You go through the course material step-by-step during 8 weeks, which gives you time to gather all the data you need and complete a financial plan for your farm/enterprise/case. You learn how to prioritize your investments and energy, and how to make decisions in line with your values, quality of life, the environment and your economy.

A comprehensive, well structured course that aids the student to tailor existing knowledge to suit their own situation and push them in the right direction towards profitable, regenerative agriculture.

Since I have read Allan Savory's book in 2018, it was clear to me that Holistic Management is going to be an important part of my work as farm manager and consultant.
In 2021 I have finally decided to take the course to get a better understanding of the framework, to become a better decision maker.
The course with 3LM has exceeded my expectation, thank you Sheila and team!

The organization, aesthetic clarity and quality of information in these courses is wonderful and refreshing. There are few frameworks or models of management I could recommend globally, but Holistic Management is one of them, and 3LM has done a beautiful job of presenting this valuable material and making it accessible.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the 3LM training. Sheila is a very good trainer and brings the group together well. The online training inevitably lost some of the richness of face-to-face training, making it difficult to forge enduring relationships. The course content is good and well structured - I sometimes felt there is a need to deliver more relevant examples for our non-brittle environment. Several suggestions to read Allan Voisin but I think his teachings should be brought into this course.
The strength of this course is the baseline development of an holistic framework, approach and understanding, together with useful work sheets.

I've just completed the Holistic Management trainings and found the whole experience informative and enjoyable. Sheila is very knowledgeable and the course is very well structured and easy to follow. I'd highly recommend doing the trainings, especially if you are managing land, as it will help you do a better job.

Holistic Management is a game changer for farmers and land managers. This insightful course was skilfully presented, every session well paced with excellent time management and participation by all involved.

I was lucky to attend the last in-person comprehensive course in February 2020 - just before the COVID-19 lockdowns.

I was one of two to not have a farming background or being actively farmer/rancher. It didn't matter. I learned a lot about Holistic Management, but also the pain points, thoughts, and questions through my fellow participants.

Sheila is an amazing facilitator. I rarely had such an appreciative experience, no matter how often we got lost in following along.

Working with 3LM has been a transformative experience, both personally and professionally. The 9 day in-person course I attended in February 2020 has had a huge impact on my thinking, and provided the impetus to envision a regenerative farm model here in County Durham.

Since then, Chris and Sheila have helped to guide our project and tailored their training to work with our tenant farming family. We have also undertaken ecological outcome verification and begun to understand our land in a much deeper way.
