THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EVERYTHING THAT WAS PROMISED WAS SA LIE!!
So we were on vacation in Hollywood, California... We were actually on hollywood boulevard when we found the location of this rental site.. It said that it was two blocks away from where we were and That we could pick up the car there and we could return it at LAX leaving California.
So we have to take a Uber to go pick up the car. And when we punch in the address, it's like five miles away from where we are!!! Then we get there and there's 2 people ahead of us. We waited almost two hours to even talk to an agent!!! Then we find out that we could not return this car to l. AX, we have to return it to where we are at this moment. Which is on santa monica boulevard, which is not near our hotel and the plan for the car was to take it to a destination which was near the the airport and then go to the airport to leave.. But instead we had to drive all the way back to Hollywood. On Santa Monica boulevard returned the car. Get an Uber for another $70 to get back to the airport and then on top of that. They charged us $111 for gas!!! And a five hundred dollar security deposit that didn't come back for 15 days And what it did? It had that ridiculous charge of a $111... This was the most ridiculous company I have ever seen. There was so unorganized. It would look like everybody had just started working there.. I would not even give them one star!!!
Muddy car, otherwise ok
The booking was smooth and the car as promised, only it was muddy and dirty both on the outside and in, we even had to wipe the seats before sitting. Complaining about it they told we can drive through a wash for free, but we did not have the time to do that.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience, ended up paying for 3 reservations even thought i only got one active in the end, paid around 80€ for that + about 150€ extra about reservations they didnt let me complete. Never got any money back and the customer service is basically not reachable and if you reach them they just “cant help you” “we dont deal with money situations on the phone” and on the website where they claim to deal with them, they just say that you dont have active reservations so again cant help. Cant possibly recommend it to anybody and will never use this service again

The business, AS 24 RENT SRL CUI 30842752, model of this co is bait and switch. They advertise a low cost car rental and without any warning add a huge daily fee for car insurance. The employs are to say unprofessional is not enough, they are thugs and cheats disguised in business people. I can't imagine been treated as badly as I was treated by this company's employes. BE AWARE DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACT WITHOUT CAREFULL EXAMINATION.

When I picked up the rental vehicle on 20/08/2023, I noticed that the fuel tank was not completely full, as indicated on the rental agreement. However, upon returning the rental vehicle on 23/08/2023, I observed that the fuel tank meter showed a level higher than what was recorded at the time of pick-up. I have attached photographs of the fuel tank meter at both the time of pick-up and return for your reference. The staff member, Helem, at the counter assured me that this discrepancy would be noted and addressed and I was requested to send details through this email. I appreciated her assistance and trusted that the situation would be resolved correctly. When i drop off the car, they refused to compensate. They cheat people.... I often travel aroud teh world and I will never choose this company again. Stay away from them !!!

Horrible. We booked a car for 4 days, they wrote to us and said to send different cards. After few days, they said that it’s not possible to reserve the car because of the card. A few hours before needing the car, the reserve cancelled and now we don’t have the car. 0/10
This is the worst rental company I have…
This is the worst rental company I have ever experienced in my life. They gave me mental torture for more than a year.
I rented this van for few hours to move within a city. After more than 5 months they sent me invoice of 2400e saying I caused the damage to the van. I sent them all the evidence I had (photos before the pick and after the drop off) but they kept on saying that I had to pay that money. I sent like 100s of email, message to the company but they never responded me. I even tried to contact ceo matti hanninen via email and twitter but he never responded as well.
After that I went to the public consumer protection board against them and after that they told me that they are ready to cancel the invoice if I take my complaint back. I wanted peace of mind as I was not sleeping properly for months because of this **** company so I decided to take the complaint back.
I have written 23 pages report on the incident. I am in contact with few of the media outlet to share my experience so that other people doesn't have to go through all this. If some media outlet are reading this contact me I can send you my report as well so that we can aware people about this company.
Never never(not even in dream) rent car from this company.
Most BS van rental company!
So we rent the van 2 weeks ago. We returned the van in time, and we filled the gas in time also. No damage to the vehicle. All good, right? Nope! Today they send us an e-mail that we drove more kilometers than allowed. What? We had the van for 8 hours, for what? Did they assume we will keep the van in the park for for 8 hours?
You rent a van, you pay for the time and then you refill the gas. That is it. These scummy people have hidden payments, so make sure you read all the lines on all the pages before renting from them. Even better, do not give your money to these scumbags, or you might very well get extra bill afterwards from the kilometers.
500€ as security right before pick up
I rent a car as an 18 year old. Everything worked well, i send a picture of myself and the license. I followed all steps and payed. So far all was great. The next morning st 7am i got a message that they could not identify myself based on the informations i gave them. They said they need 500€ as security which i would get back when i return the car without any damage. That was 1h before i was about to pick up the car. There was no way for me to get 500€ on my girlfriends bank account within an hour since my card didnt work for online banking. I cancelled the order and we.got the money back. Still its not a good service to do so. We went to Hertz after that in Hämeenlinna and got a car without any problem.
This is not a company but a nightmare! Please steer clear
I have a lot to say based on my experience with this 'fraudulent transport arrangement' called company but I am too angry to put them in writing. My 1 billion dollar advice is for all to ignore the existence of 24rent and check alternatives. In fact, it is better to go through the stress of moving your goods bit by bit using your car than to engage 24rent. You are warned!!! I forgot to add that trying to contact them by all means would yield no success as they often block you even from their social media handle.
AVOID it at ALL costs.
Now I get the terrible reviews the company gets. They are charging me for previously unknown damage to the right front side of the roof of a van I rented (seems it happened during the four hours I used the vehicle, but I was not aware of it).
So far, ok, I filled in the report as required by them. According to the pictures they sent to me, it doesn't seem like big damage.
Then comes an invoice asking for 2490 euros for the repair. 2490 euros. You can buy some cars with this value. Completely absurd.
They don't send any details about what the value is about, no discrimination or budget whatsoever.
I asked them for it before paying - but I leave this advice anyways. NEVER use this service. You can find much cheaper options, for instance, with privates on the Facebook marketplace in Finland - and I am sure they wouldn't try to profit from any damage occurrences, as most people I have dealt with in Finland so far are pretty honest and friendly.
Update: they ended up providing the detailed expenses and I paid the value in full.

The best you can do is to stay away. You can't beat their fraudulent means of taking huge amount of money from you. How such company still thrives in Europe beats my imagination. They are nothing but fraudsters, in my opinion.

Not available for foreigners. You need a Finnish bank account in order to pay for the reservation deposit, even tho Visa and Mastercard where available before. This is not the option for deposits... You can not even get in contact with a real human, because there is no phone or email option. Very bad, could be very amazing if they did updated this.
Mixed feelings
Edit 18.10: got in touch with the company through their app. I received compensation for the taxi fare! So a tips for others, don't email them, just call them or get in touch through their app. Up from 2 to 3 stars. Be sure to read their policies thoroughly before renting.
Cannot recommend. I've rented cars twice from this company within a year. First rental went fine, rented a well-working van. Only problem was 24rent sent me the wrong pin code for the garage where the van was, but the garage's customer service let me in. Second time I rented a passenger car. Now this car's doors wouldn't open and I got in contact with 24rent's customer service. They also tried open the doors remotely to no avail. In addition to this, the car already had a 60€ parking fine. Then they offered me the closest car, which was 7km away, but they would compensate the taxi bill in addition to extending the renting time 3 hours. Which was all fine, but this set us back 1 hour on a tight schedule. I wasn't allowed to return the car to my original preferred space either, I had to return it 7 km from home. 10 Days later I have yet to receive any compensation for the taxi bill and I've tried contacting them a couple of times through e-mail, which was their preferred method. But the car worked well! And the customer service woman was polite.

I can not recommend 24rent. to anyone, will never use it again and tell everyone that it is a bad idea to use it. You will just end up paying for a broken down car, or pay for damages you have not done. Complaint service is also the worst you can imagine...

I asked to rent a van 2 days before the date. 7.4hrs before rental I realized that cargo will not be delivered in time and I don't need a van. So I cancelled the reservation and in 7 hours I got a message that I will not get a cent back because of their policy. The company returns money back only when you cancel your reservation 7 days before the time. Which wasn't possible in my situation.
317 eur wasted.

Only for Finland residents, but they do not tell you in advance. I had paid for my car reservation using my debet card. They took my money kept them for 14 days and than asked for deposit. I had no problem to pay deposit but in that case they offered only paying through Finland banks. So to pay for reservation you can use international card but for deposit not. I asked them for other option but only answer was SORRY there is no other option. So only way was to cancel reservation. So for me they performed like scammers who borrowed my money for 14 days for free.

The van I rented this weekend (Renault Master with 8000km on it) broke down (clearly not their fault) and they were quite helpful helping to arrange a new vehicle. I did have to pay my own taxi bill to get to the new van, but they have promised to refund that (which is service as it should be).
Did I have to do some extra followup? Yes, but I can't argue with their rates, so will happily continue to use them.

This service might market itself as a cheap self-service car rental, but it's nothing but a hidden fees scam.
First of all their customer service is next to none and they do not reply to any of our queries or questions during the rental.
We accidentally drove across the border to Sweden during our rental. It was literally a bridge over a river from which we U-turned from directly. For this "breech of contract" we were charged 120EUR. About 20% of our total rental bill. I tried to clear this situation up but was unable to receive any replies to my emails to their customer support. 2 weeks later they hit me with a 650 EUR Bill (effectively doubling our bill) for spending 2 min on the wrong side of the border. I call them and this time they finally answer. I then agree to pay the 120EUR but I can assure you that I will never be using this service again. Absolute scam, you are not their customer and they do not care about you at all! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
