Aweful service fron the engineer who came to check my boiler and incorrectly classified my cooker as "unsafe" to use because "he wanted to cover his back"! When I called to complain they agreed this classification was wrong and organised for another engineers visit who never turned up! I called again to complain and rearrange but I was held on the line for 10 minutes before I was cut off. Do NOT bother with this shame of a company.

There are a lot of organisations scamming elderly folk out of money and many of them based in and around Bournemouth. One such organisation scamming my mother went under the name of 247 Home Protect - was it this organisation? I'm not sure. But I do note that the website provided by Trust Pilot doesn't seem to mention the name of the limited company that offers (I won't say provides) the services. That seems very odd to me. Took upwards of £300.00 over eight months.

Avoid this company for boiler cover!
We took out cover a couple of years ago, all covered, annual service included, etc, etc.
12 month contract which after the 12 months we never received any documentation, renewal letters, post or emails so figured it was just a rolling contract as they continued to bill us.
We had 1 service completed by a subcontracted company from the other end of the country which was a bit odd.
Last year we contacted them asking for another boiler service to be told this was not included in the plan (the entire reason we had cover with them) and we would have to pay another £50+.
So we switched to a local company and once they had completely set up our account we contacted 24/7 in January and told them to cancel our account with them. They decided to just continue billing us and not bother cancelling it, taking another £40 over 2 months. So I cancelled my direct debit and the next day they phoned my wife and told her we had to pay £30 to cancel as we were outside our "14 day period cooling off period" of our "current" 12 month contract - that they had never informed us we were in.
After informing them of this they replied saying they had sent my wife emails (they never) and that she had read them (how she read emails that were never sent to us remains a mystery).
Absolute scam.
