Overpriced, poor communication, false charges on bill

My husband used this service on 11/18/2019. He called the business somewhere between 2:30 and 3:30 am. By 8:30, no one had shown up, so he called again. He was told they were waiting on a dealership to open so they could attempt to get a part he needed to repair his truck, which was broken down on a ramp and had our camper behind it. He was called back and asked for information he had already given in a text and photo from his phone. It was not relayed from one employee to another. He also told the person on the phone not to send a mechanic if the part was not an aftermarket part. The mechanic was sent anyway, with a part that was not an aftermarket part. My husband, experienced at working on our vehicles, had already removed the faulty part and put the part that was brought on our truck himself because he had no other option at this point that was reasonable. The part failed before the next exit. He had to call the mechanic back to get back his original part, piece it together with supplies he had on his truck, and reuse it to try to make it to his destination that was 130 miles away. He was charged for labor, which he had done himself, charged for shop supplies, which were not used, and charged a "convenience fee" for a service that was anything but convenient. We do not expect to get "something for nothing" and are more than happy to give due credit for a job well done, nor are we interested in ruining a reputation that does not deserve it. We are very disappointed in this business and can not, in good conscience, recommend it.
