I don’t like that all the tests are locked. You have to complete every quiz before you can access them. I would prefer if everything were unlocked so I could choose where to start and work at my own pace.

I have used 240 for 3 of my MTELS and passed all 3 of them. I love the check in quizzes at the end of each section it really helps you see what you need to work on

I used 240 to prepare for my FTCE exams. I passed 7 so far and have two more left.
I find the material very clear and easy to follow. There are a large number of practice questions which for me generally is the key. Learning material is one thing. Applying it to everyday school situations is different and we need to have both knowledge and the ability to apply it.

These resources are AMAZING! Helped me pass the FELE exam and also the FTCE ESE K-12 exam. I have tried other study materials that are not nearly as good or accurate.

I used 240 for my content and STR. I passed my content and I am still waiting on results from the STR, but it helped me feel prepared for both exams. I like how you can take a quiz to see what you need to study on and the priority for each test. I would recommend!

My college strongly promoted 240 Tutoring as the go-to resource for passing FTCE and other teaching certification exams. I used it for several different subjects, and despite consistently studying, I didn’t pass a single time. Why? Because the content in 240 Tutoring didn’t align well with the actual exam. Much of the material covered wasn’t even on the test, and the format was so different from the official exam that I felt surprised and unprepared on test day.

After I stopped using 240 Tutoring and switched to an FTCE NavaEd book, I immediately noticed a difference. The material was more informative, better aligned with the exam content, and structured similarly to the actual test. Thanks to that resource, I passed each subject exam.

In my experience, 240 Tutoring relied heavily on buzzwords and didn’t accurately reflect the structure or focus of the official FTCE exams. It would be far more effective if the program better mirrored the format and content of the real test.

I took the GACE Elementary Education assessment and did not pass on either attempt. Unfortunately, the study materials I used did not align with the types of questions on the exam. The content and format of the study guide were significantly different from what was assessed, making preparation feel disconnected from the actual test. The exam focused more on application and reasoning, while the study resources emphasized surface-level content. As a result, the preparation materials did not adequately prepare me for the structure or rigor of the assessment.

I used 240 to study for the TEXeS Science Composite exam. The first time I took the exam I did not pass. With 240Tutoring, I felt that I was able to work on areas that needed improvement efficiently. I also felt that this course had a comprehensive overview of what was on the actual exam. I felt over-prepared, which was very helpful. I would highly recommend using this course.

240 Tutoring provides thorough study materials using a very methodical approach (information review -> flashcard review -> mini-quizzes -> practice tests). It offers easy-to-follow dashboards to view progress and areas of strength/weakness. It also includes 3 practice tests, and if you score 90% or above on any of them, they guarantee your money back if you fail the actual Praxis. I loved all of these.

Now for some drawbacks. Minor cons include that questions on mini-quizzes are sometimes repeated, and flashcards can sometimes be confusing if you don't recall the exact description provided in the review materials. The largest drawback is that users can't skip steps to get to the practice tests. You must go through all the review pages in a section before you can unlock and take that section's mini-quiz, and you complete these steps for all the sections before you can unlock the practice test.

I highly recommend 240 Tutoring for students looking for thorough prep. It worked well for me, as I passed my test on the first attempt following full completion of the 240 Tutoring unit for the test. However, those just looking for a quick review before a practice test might consider an alternative.

I found a lot of the information relevant, and easy to follow, but I do think the practice assessments were much more difficult than my actual test.
