nothing but excellent service

Felt the need to leave a review because for the past 4 years I've had nothing but excellent service from everyone top to bottom at 1path. I can say that we would not be where we are today and would not have been able to make it through the pandemic and the transition to remote work without 1path. Thank you and if you are looking at an IT company talk to these guys.

Four months since my last review and…

Four months since my last review and the service has become even worse than before. One example - We are required to change our passwords every 3 months, which normally wouldn't be a problem. However, most of our employees have to spend hours on the phone with Tech Support correcting their system after their password has been updated. This happens every time. I wish we could charge them for the amount of employee's time that has been wasted waiting on a support rep who doesn't know what they are doing!!!!

There are so many issues with this company that we would love to leave them. Unfortunately, they setup your work orders so that you can not leave them without paying for the contract in full. If your onboarding takes more than one month (ours took 6 months) they will change the dates on the service orders so that you have different dates for their services, even though these services should be bundled. For example, how can an IT company separate the Hosted Domain from the Managed Network services and yet our contract end dates are 2 years apart.

If our company was as bad as 1Path, we would have been out of business long ago.

As a Systems Administrator that…

As a Systems Administrator that replaced 1Path's services at a local company and built their internal IT department I can confidently say that these guys do not know what they're doing. Ignoring the ineptitude and unnecessarily complex systems that were in place prior to my arrival if there is ever an issue after hours you may or may not ever get a call back - even if you follow up every 30 minutes. Once you do get with the on call tech you'll be placed on mute for the majority of your call without any input or reassurance from them. They'll click around and seemingly do nothing until suddenly the call drops and the remote session is disconnected immediately afterwards. Within minutes you'll receive an email with dim-witted, poorly written instructions on how to resolve your issue but in reality you've been ignored and the tech just didn't want to deal with the problem any longer. This has happened twice now and the troubleshooting has been with the systems 1Path deployed prior to me starting with the company.

Firewall as a service contracts are a joke. Asking to have multiple firewalls updated is like pulling teeth just to get it done and the updates are never proactive.

Stay away from this company and if you have any contracts with them currently, i urge you to look elsewhere for MSP services.

One of the better MSPs I've ever hired

One of the better MSPs I've ever hired. Always responsive to our team members and gives us overall guidance wihtout "just trying to sell us" which was my experience with other IT companies. Highly recommend for IT support.
