I appreciate the service

I appreciate the service. The person who came and replaced my car battery was friendly and efficient; he was very quick. He did point out that I ordered a new battery and the one the company gave him has two stickers on it—one is dated 2025 and the other is dated 2024. I suspect the battery is not the one I ordered, but I needed a battery and it did start my car. I can only hope it will be reliable.

Unfortunately, I placed order on Friday morning, scheduling the replacement service for Saturday morning. I received a confirmation with the correct date and went to work on Friday morning. At around 12:15 p.m., I received a call from the technician who told me he would be there in 15 minutes. I was in my office across town and told him that I scheduled the service for Saturday between 8-11, not Friday afternoon. He told me that he didn't have any information about that; they just dispatched him, and he had driven some distance to get there and could not come back tomorrow. I left a meeting I was in at work and *literally ran* home—fortunately, I live a half-hour walk from my office.

As mentioned, he was great and the car started, which is most important, but the scheduling of the service would make me hesitant to use it again if an alternative were available.

Sent another brand and charged a restocking fee

Nothing is working normally with this company. They are dishonest and not reliable. Only positive is the people on the phone are nice and patient but they will also give you the wrong info.
I ordered a battery and scheduled delivery for the same day but found out later they would not deliver until the following day.
- After few more delays I received the battery but it was not the brand I ordered. I wanted to return it of course but was told that they would charge me a restocking fee of $25 because that is stipulated in their fine print. Of course there's no mention of that when you order. You have to dig in the website on your own to find it.
- Before ordering, a customer support agent told me I could give my old battery to the delivery guy, which was a lie. They then told me I could just drop it off at an Autozone.
- After ordering I received a text message telling me to watch a video but the link pointed to an unregistered URL.
- Then I had to jump a few more hoops to return the battery. When I showed at the address I was given, that car part dealer flat out told me they don't like to work with 1800batteries, and that they would not give me a receipt for dropping of the battery. I called customer service again and was told to lie to the dealer and tell them I was not a customer but working for 1800battery. The part dealer eventually made an exception a made me a receipt, but for an online order Co nothing is working the way it should.

They bring out the battery and install it.

When we called, they said it would take about six hours. They were there in about two hours. Doug brought out the battery and installed it and put everything back where it belonged. He also made sure the car started before he left. The battery was the same one I ordered, and that has a three-year guarantee. I was very happy with the service all around.

Thos company is a scam

I was happy at first with this company. I had a battery installed in 2023 then towards the end of the year the battery went bad. I called them up and they replaced it. Now, my battery is bad again and will not hold a charge. The battery comes with a 3 year warranty, so it should not be an issue to replace it. When I contacted the company I was told" Since I used the warranty already they cannot help me and I need to pay in full for a replacement " what is the point of a warranty then? I am a disabled veteran and getting treated like this is a shame.

If I could get this company less than…

If I could get this company less than one star I would. I purchased a battery spent over $350 for it because I need a new one wanted to make sure I cover all my bases and had a warranty. It’s less than I’m off later, and my challenger is completely dead. I called to get the warranty honor but they need another $150 to replace a battery that was already $350. They sent me a link saying that I should’ve read it on the website. It’s impossible to see this link when you’re checking out. Do not waste your money. Do not waste your time. This is horrible. The Customer Service was rude and made no accommodations for me. I like to think when you pay more for a product you get better service this is not the case I will be contacting any and everybody I need to. I don’t have $350 for a battery in a challenger to be dead Completely dead in a month and it’s brand new shame on you one 800 battery. You should’ve just helped me one way or another I won’t get helped. Please don’t get your battery from here. It’s not worth it when you’re spending that type of money you want quality of service there’s no quality. There’s no supervisor on staff. There’s no one who understands and everyone’s rude please save your money!!!

It took 4 days to get a same day…

It took 4 days to get a same day battery replacement. Phones went unanswered, voice mails not returned and they do not respond to texts. When the install was done the battery died a week later because it was not installed properly leaving my disabled patient stranded for the second time in one week.

Super convenient, on their time.

Super convenient to get your battery replaced—booked the appointment, they came, they replaced the battery, they left. Unfortunately, the time I booked was between 12pm and 2pm. My order was finally picked up at 3:45, and the technician arrived at 4pm. I'm glad it got done, but genuinely if you're going to use them set aside all day for it. The appointment scheduler is wildly inaccurate.

Great experience

The process was simple from beginning to end. I was able to do everything online. Isaac kept me updated along the way and was super polite. He made the process look so easy and I didn't even have to leave my home.

The technician was incredibly friendly

The technician was incredibly friendly. My car also got flat tires, and he helped me in pumping it up. Subsequently, we discovered that my car had additional problems. He helped me contact a tow service too.
It's a great service which I definitely recommend.

OVER PROMISED AND UNDER DELIVERED-…


OVER PROMISED AND UNDER DELIVERED- service promised friday afternoon at 1 pm. No show entire day and no communication from company. Saturday morning sent three emails and 3 phone calls inquiring about service- ghosted with no reply from 1880battery. Got car to PEP Boys in morning- battery replaced no issues. DO NOT USE 1800BATTERY unless you want a time consuming, frustrating experience.

Customer service sucks

Ordered the battery on Sunday, was told I would get it on Monday. Did not get the battery on Monday. Was then told I would get it Tuesday by 9:30am but did not get it until 3pm.
Was never told what to do with the core. When I "chatted" I was given a whole lot of useless info including an email address. I emailed said address and still don't know what to do with the core.

They quickly called as soon as I placed…

They quickly called as soon as I placed an order. They corrected the order since my car (Benz E320) has 2 batteries and it was not clear which was dead. Lastly and importantly, when we had communication challenges with the driver expecting my car at my home address, instead of the parking lot, it was quickly resolved and a great job delivered. The company has done very well to have people at the office and on the road communicating with the customer and with one another. Please keep it up. Thanks.
