Pretty good experience overall

Pretty good experience. Only trouble I had was with the touch screen. The curser was off about an inch. I had to do a lot of retyping in order to hit the right keys adding a good 15/20 minutes to my set up time.

Moving cross country is always very…

Moving cross country is always very stressful but 10 Federal made the storage process so easy. Hi did it all on line showed up and everything was exactly as they said. Thank you.

My code didn't work

My code didn't work. Was stuck with my moving truck and helpers. No call back. Had to pay moving truck for another day, because customer service wasn't available till the next day. Also had to pay for storage one additional day because I couldn't access it the day I moved.

Impossible to get Military Discount

Rented this unit because they advertise a military discount, but when you complete the process it doesn't give you the discount.

I reserved my unit remotely…

I reserved my unit remotely anticipating putting item in the unit when I came into town on the weekend. When I arrived at the site, there were three other customers waiting. The keypad wasn’t working and the kiosk was unresponsive. On of the waiters said he had been trying to get in for three days. This is an unacceptable service level. I have cancelled my rental and won’t be back.

My 10Federal experience

Although this was a new experience where the facility is unmanned, I was still able to get what I needed. The live reps over the phone were awesome at getting the job done and being sure I had what I needed. The were polite and patient. And when I encountered a problem with the unit they stayed on the line until resolved. Sure better experience from the last place I had. I’d recommend 10 Federal to anyone any day.

Called around

Called around. Found best rate here. Handled everything online. Self service was confident fast and solved my storage issues immediately. Found uphill entrance after circling around several times.

Easy process

Easy process. Online process has some bugs as it relates to not having vehicle storage. Will not let you complete online check in without filling out the for on vehicle make model year and vin. I just put in bogus information of multiple 1’s and it accepted it and let me complete application and move in.

Got a 30 day notice to get RV out since…

Got a 30 day notice to get RV out since they decided to build storage units on RV sites. Now several renters are scrambling because of the short notice. Bad business practice.

I forget to mention how our RV's paint was ruined when 10Federal decided to paint the storage units and put plastic over the RV with painter's tape, which didn't fully come off and when it did, left glue marks and striped the decals. We were never notified that they were going to do this - just came by and saw the RV covered - no explanation.

Everything went smoothly except my gate…

Everything went smoothly except my gate code would not work. Went in and out three different times and had to call your customer service every time.

Reserved a 10 x 10 unit

Reserved a 10 x 10 unit. Went to fill said unit and found someone else's stuff in the unit. They gave me a 5 x 10 that won't hold everything I need to store. The code to open the gate didn't work properly so I was stuck in the lot in a moving truck for over an hour. Yeah, not happy and not happening.
