I phoned the shop, they had in stock the Austrian Hi-X15 over ear headphones I had decided to buy, they put them by for me and next day I went to the shop and bought them. That's all good. Five stars. I think the only thing that might have improved the experience would have been if the salesperson had emphasised to me how very important it was to give the headphones time before they perform at their best. They sounded pretty awful when I got them home, unpacked the box and played piano music through them. Thin, clangorous, ghastly. But now, after several days and quite a few hours' use, they have improved immensely and sound really great.

I took a CD player under guarantee in need of repair. No problem and as the unit had been discontinued it was immediately replaced. I have used Richer Sounds Holborn for many years, they understand their products and are always helpful as well as being competitive in price. Bravo!

Alan from the Holborn store was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He advised me on the best buy for my needs.it arrived on time and when I rang him as the UK plug adapter was missing immediately sent a replacement.

The staff are very nice and very knowledgeable. All my questions were patiently explained to me and I am now clearer with the tech.

Great customer information and support

Emailed to ask for a stock check on an item and quickly recieved a call back stating that they had the item nad had put one aside for me to collect. A nice touch which saved the possibility of a wasted journey.
When I collected the deck the Alan made sure to use 5km of parcel tape :) to make a robust handle for the awkwardly sized box, which made it a cinch to carry on the tube, with no fear of it bouncing down the escalator system.

Speedy collection, near impossible to believe that a multi-region DVD player (which also plays CDs), can be purchased new and under warranty for 3 years for £29, but it can. Bought to supplement a DVD gift for our neighbour's young children, who in the age of streaming did not have one! Served with a smile on collection, despite a price that probably leaves very little margin.

Really helpful on the phone, offered a great alternative deal as the item I was asking about was sold out. Visited in store and they upheld, and standard delivery was super quick. Speakers are great 😃

Richer Sounds has been my first (and usually only) shop to buy from. There are a number of reasons but three stand out. First is the staff, knowledgeable, friendly, ready to answer questions. Second the after sales service, on the odd time I've needed it they have been most helpful, third prices, Almost always either or near the cheapest and combined with points one and two the best buy. It seems invidious to single out one individual in a history of helpful staff but Elliot had all the qualities that make it such a pleasure to shop at Richer Sounds.
