A perfect car for my Lofoten trip
I had an excellent experience with this car. It was clean, comfortable, and felt very safe throughout our trip. The car was easy to drive, reliable, and in excellent condition. It handled the roads around Lofoten perfectly, whether in town or on scenic routes. The pick-up and return process was smooth, and everything was exactly as described. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone visiting the area, and we would be happy to rent it again.

Never choose Getaround to rent you car
Customer service is nonexistent. The whole experience is a total nightmare. They lie to you after they disappear. The idea is great, but there is no way this company will survive the way it is managed.

My first experience with Getaround was…
My first experience with Getaround was extremely disappointing.
I spent an entire day trying to complete the verification process. First, I was asked to upload my driver’s license, then a certified translation, then proof of address, and finally my tax documents and even a photo of my bank card, despite the payment already being successfully authorized by my bank.
The verification process is overly complicated, time-consuming, and lacks transparency. Every time I submitted the requested documents, new requirements appeared with no clear explanation from the beginning.
I have rented cars through several other platforms before, and none of them required such an excessive amount of personal information. Unfortunately, this experience resulted in a complete waste of time and an unsuccessful booking.
I cannot recommend this service based on my experience.
