I just attended my first weroad travel weekend in Andalusia and it could not have been better! Every single detail was perfectly planned and executed. Our travel coordinator (Yaser) was absolutely amazing, ensuring everyone in the group was well taken care of from start to finish. This was my first time doing a trip with weroad, and it exceeded all my expectations, thanks to Yaser I had the best first experience 😃. I am already looking forward to joining the next one with Yaser as travel coordinator. Loved it!

Malaga with Yaser — 29th May 2029
Yaser is simply the best WeRoad group leader. He brings care, kindness, assertiveness, and passion to every trip he leads, and this Malaga weekend was another clear example of his skillful preparation and solution-oriented mindset.
In just one day, we visited two landmarks early in the morning, allowing us to enjoy them leisurely and without crowds. We also had a vibrant and passionate guided tour of Málaga with a local certified company. Extremely delicious focaccia sandwiches, carefully packed and labelled with our names, were waiting for us for collection, as Yaser had organized the orders the day before.
The pick-up at the focaccia location was impeccable and on time, with a spacious van, great vibes, and music on the way. Yaser also arranged with the driver to keep our belongings and sandwiches safely until our later pick-up time.
We then enjoyed the stunning views of El Caminito del Rey with a lively guided tour. Afterwards, Yaser secured well-deserved seating for the seven of us in a shaded area, where we enjoyed fresh drinks. He continuously monitored the driver’s arrival time and route so that we could arrive on time for the boat tour, despite the driver being delayed.
When we arrived at the pier, one of us realized he had forgotten his bag in the van. Yaser masterfully and swiftly arranged for the driver to come back and return the backpack. The issue was solved within minutes, with calmness and action.
We all had a beautiful ride on the catamaran. Yaser made space for all of us at the front of the boat to ensure we had the best spot for sunset pictures. After the cruise, he arranged a last-minute request: a flamenco dinner show just a few minutes’ walk from the pier. Alegría was the most mind-blowing flamenco show I have ever seen, and the food was delicious.
Sunday was more leisurely, with a visit to the Picasso Museum and some beach time. Yaser ensured we had all the information we needed to enjoy ourselves after the official end of the WeRoad trip, including airport timing, transportation, the best chiringuito to visit, a recap of the moneypot expenses, and daily recaps in advance of the day ahead.
Thank you, Yaser, for making this trip so smooth, memorable, and full of joy.

A wonderful weekend in Malaga, organised to perfection by the incredible Yaser. Thank you for a jam-packed couple of days that allowed us to experience so much of the city in such a short time.
This was my second trip with Yaser, and once again I was impressed by his exceptional attention to detail, thoughtfulness and ability to anticipate everyone’s needs before they even arise. The level of organisation is remarkable, but what stands out most is the kindness and care with which everything is done.
Thank you, Yaser, for yet another wonderful experience and for making every trip so memorable.

Malaga with Yaser from the 29th May. A jam packed trip organised to perfection to make the most out of the city. A great group of people too. Yaser was calm, friendly and meticulously organised. I would highly recommend 👌

We used We Road for a trip to Japan. I would highly recommend using another tour company as we felt scammed by the trip and the ad is false advertising. Main issues below:
1. The hotels were badly located. We had to catch two buses/tubes from the centres to the hotel which took up to an hour out of the centres meaning we had to wake up at 6am most days to commute to places and couldn’t stay out late in the evening as it wasn’t easy or quick to get home. One person ended up paying for his own hotels in the centre (which were only £30 a night, again, showing we had been ripped off by we road).
2. The tour coordinator was very unorganised and had terrible communication. We were often lost or getting on the wrong tube. She was also very bad stressed energy which made us feel on edge and anxious. Which is not what you want when you’ve paid thousands of pounds for a bucket list trip.
3. The money pot did not cover temples and other hidden costs meaning that we were asked for £250 straight up before the trip had even started.
4. The photos advertised Mount Fuji so we were expecting to see it. This was not an option as our tour guide already went to see it before the trip had started and was not offered to us as part of the itinerary.
The list goes on but I will stop. Please don’t waste £3k on a trip you will regret doing like we all did with We Road. They offered us a refund of £200 which didn’t touch the sides of the stress and upset caused by what was meant to be a bucket list holiday. Other tour companies such as G adventures, flashback, etc seem to have much better value.

Malaga trip on 29 May with Yasser is a 100 trip. The itinerary was carefully thought of and coordinated meticuously. Yasser is a coordinator that is passionate about offering the best experince possible, making sure that not a single worry comes on anyones shoulder. A short weekend trip turned out to become an experience that could have been done in one week. Exclusive City tour ( we skipped all the lines due to great planning) check, caminito del rey gorgeous tour- check , party transfer to sunset boat trip with best dj driver Gabby- check, flamingo show with tapas - wow, picasso museum and the beach. YASSER you are the GOAT for making this mini trip Amazing🤩

Overall, I loved being in Kyrgyzstan. The local guides, Azamat and Selima, were absolutely fantastic—extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. The group of fellow travelers was also amazing, which made the social atmosphere very enjoyable.
However, my experience with the WeRoad coordinator, Rebeca, was highly disappointing. As a coordinator, her contribution was virtually non-existent for several reasons:
-**Lack of Communication:** She failed to provide essential daily updates regarding the next day's itinerary, weather conditions, dress codes, or packing needs. She only shared this information after being repeatedly asked by the participants, and even then, it wasn't consistent. Changes to the initial program were also not communicated proactively.
-**Poor Time Management & Self-Centric Attitude:** She struggled to manage the group’s schedule. During hikes and excursions, her priority seemed to be taking photos and videos of herself rather than managing the timeline.
-**Neglecting Coordinator Responsibilities:** During hikes, she did not fulfill the typical duties expected of a coordinator. While the local guide led the front, she did not stay back to support or monitor the slower-paced participants.
-**Lack of Professionalism:** Due to the points above, it felt as though the participants were simply sponsoring a vacation for a "coordinator" who happened to travel with us.
**Financial Transparencies and Pricing Issues:**
-On the very first day, the predetermined "money pot" amount was increased by approximately 50% without a proper or clear explanation.
-There was no transparency regarding the money pot expenses during the trip. The coordinator only shared a screenshot of her personal notes on the final day.
-According to that final screenshot, the money pot was used to pay for transport, drivers, local guides, and the eagle show—services that were explicitly listed as included in the tour price when purchased. If these expenses were meant to be extra tips, our consent should have been asked. If not, it remains unclear what the initial tour fee actually covered.
-Seeing how economical Kyrgyzstan actually is, the initial price charged by WeRoad feels unreasonably high, especially considering that many included services were ultimately funded by our money pot.
In conclusion, the positive aspects of this trip were entirely due to the local guides, Azamat and Selima, and the great group dynamics. However, the service delivered by the WeRoad representative was completely disproportionate to the amount paid. This was a highly disappointing experience, and it will be my first and last time booking with WeRoad.

I should warn you that this is going to be a long ‘blog’ :)
TLDR: Kyrgyzstan is a dreamlike country. It’s so beautiful that I would never hesitate to go back and experience it again and again. The possibilities for experiences are almost endless—holding a Golden Eagle with its wings spread while riding a horse, a 3-hour horseback ride through mountains and valleys in a completely different landscape, or an 18-kilometer nature hike… It’s too beautiful to describe. You just have to experience it. 'Jüröktön Rakhmat' to our local guide Azamat and his team, Selima, along with our drivers Rahat and Omur, for making everything possible; they always made us feel like real family and kept us safe.
First and foremost, I must congratulate the WeRoad team for choosing Azamat, such a talented local guide. Likewise, our drivers, Omur and Rahat—who were part of the team selected by Azamat—were always incredibly helpful and respectful.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to WeRoad team leader Rebecca for thoughtfully organizing a surprise birthday party for my partner. She made sure that, on the very first day, 15 people we had just met threw her an unforgettable birthday celebration—a moment we will never forget. For this, I will always hold Rebecca in high regard.
As for Kyrgyzstan, there’s a lot I could tell you. Yes, you see a travel itinerary being shared before you go, but passing through a herd of 300 to 400 animals, watching a herd of 30 to 40 horses galloping through the mountains, or seeing just how skilled a 7-year-old child is on horseback—these are scenes that will play over and over in your mind.
For those of you reading these reviews and considering a trip to Kyrgyzstan, there’s only one thing I can say: you absolutely must go. Whether it’s WeRoad or another company—of course, that’s up to you—do your research, but I’d say Kyrgyzstan should definitely be at the top of your travel bucket list. Even though a few weeks have passed since I returned, I’m sure I’ll still be getting questions about Kyrgyzstan from my coworkers. Based on the vacation photos I shared, 10–15 of my friends have already asked for recommendations.
Alright, without dragging this out any further, I’ll wrap things up. I’d like to thank Azamat and his team once again for making everything possible and for making me feel at home. Go to Kyrgyzstan at the first opportunity before it gets too crowded—you won’t regret it.

Booking was straightforward although there was some issues with the changes to the money pot being included/excluded/included. The trip was really great and the itinerary well planned. Local tour guides and WeRoad coordinator were excellent. Some of the cities in the middle of the trip were a bit rushed though and would have preferred a bit extra time to explore them more.

Amazing trip through Kazakhstan with a great group of solo travellers.
Our WeRoad group leader Amy Ya was super organised and great at bringing the group together. Thanks to her we could totally relax and focus on having a great time (which was easy to do!) knowing that all the plans and logistics were handled.
Kazakhstan is a beautiful country and the
tour itinerary covered a lot of different parts including cities, mountains, and deserts.
The WeRoad concept is (to my knowledge) unique and really works well. It would be difficult and stressful to organise this particular trip with friends, maybe not even possible as a solo traveller, and I would highly recommend.

A great trip to Romania. The coordinator was amazing and so was the food. There is some confusion about the money pot and extras.
I will 100% book with this company again as I have had 2 great trips and made new friends. I like to solo travel but I would not be able to see as much sola as I have been able to with Weroad.

I am incredibly disappointed with how our WeRoad trip to Kyrgyzstan was organized. The only reason I didn't completely abandon the group halfway through was because of the amazing fellow travelers. The group made the experience bearable, but the leadership, communication, and basic safety standards from WeRoad/Guide were non-existent.
Our coordinator was completely useless. She refused to share any basic information unless we practically begged for it. At one point, we explicitly gave her feedback that we are adults and need a daily itinerary so we can prepare our backpacks and dress appropriately (especially for hikes or rainy weather). While things slightly improved after that confrontation, we were still left completely in the dark most of the time about what the actual plan for the day was.
The local guide was just as bad. Because our large group was split into two buses, he spent the entire trip in the other bus. My bus received absolutely zero information about the places we visited throughout our entire stay in Kyrgyzstan. He didn't bother to teach us anything about the culture or sights. On top of that, he occasionally made sexist comments, which was entirely unacceptable given that the majority of our group were women.
The guide’s attitude toward the group was ridiculous. During hikes, he would walk ahead at his own fast pace and actively complained that we walked "like typical tourists"—completely ignoring the fact that it is literally his job to guide and pace the group. I confronted him twice, reminding him that he is a paid guide and needs to wait so the group doesn't get dangerously spread out. He literally laughed in my face..
The most alarming part of the trip was how health issues were handled. Two people in our group suffered from altitude sickness, which was genuinely scary. Instead of providing support, both the guide and the coordinator went ahead with a hike and left the sick travelers alone in the camp. Leaving people with altitude sickness without any medical support or supervision in case of an emergency is totally irresponsible and dangerous.
Finally, there was zero transparency regarding the money pot. We were never informed about what the money was actually being spent on until the very last day of the trip. We were hit with surprises about what we had to pay for simply because the coordinator failed to communicate any financial details beforehand.
WeRoad seriously needs to vet their coordinators and local partners. This trip was a masterclass in poor organization, and I will think twice before booking with them again.
edit: I did enjoy the people and nature on that trip. a lot. but here I am rating weroad so keep that in mind when reading :)

As this was my second trip with WeRoad, I had high, high expectations based on my previous experience and the itinerary that was advertised however, the trip was disappointing from start to finish and fell far short of expectations, proving to be a complete disaster.
Very early into the trip, we were informed that this was “no longer WeRoad’s itinerary” and was instead, to quote directly, now “Linda’s itinerary.” As a result, we missed out on fourteen advertised activities, equating to approximately five to six full days of the planned itinerary, including the entire exploration day in Cancun which as a whole, is completely unacceptable, under any circumstances for a service that you have already paid for.
Group polls were disregarded, with final decisions ultimately reflecting the Group Leaders preferences. Group members were reprimanded for briefly stopping to take photographs, with patronising and sarcastic remarks being made that were neither welcomed nor appreciated. There were confrontational and uncomfortable discussions concerning the refusal to provide refunds for excursions that certain individuals of the group chose to not participate in, during/whilst present on the trip until after the trip had ended. One member of the group was physically assaulted, while a further three were reduced to tears as a result of the group leader’s drunken behaviour, with one individual feeling compelled to withdraw early from the trip entirely, due to the group leader’s actions which I consider utterly, utterly, appalling.
In addition, it has been confirmed in writing since the trip that over £700 from the group’s moneypot was taken and remains unaccounted for, with there being still no clear explanation as to where those funds went to date.
The complaints process was lengthy, with replies taking up to eighteen days to receive at a time, and to usually receive a response often proving inadequate or unsatisfactory. I also had to persist in seeking a fair and appropriate level of compensation, which was ultimately granted after a protracted two-month period.
Throughout the trip, there were repeated issues relating to poor communication, inconsistent decision-making, and conduct that was, at times, unprofessional, dishonourable, and negligent. While this trip was anticipated to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, it was ultimately undermined by the conduct and actions of one individual, with that individual being the Group Leader. As the sole representative of the brand, you would expect the company to be presented in a professional and positive manner however, the behaviour observed throughout resulted in deep disappointment, and I am at a loss as to why this individual has been permitted to continue in their role within the company following such serious incidents.
Granted, WeRoad appears to offer some incredible trips/destinations, and I cannot fault the website, booking process, or the information provided. However, I believe the overall experience largely depends on the group leader, and unfortunately in this case, the standard fell well below what would be considered acceptable, with it feeling clear that the trip was treated more like a free, all expenses paid for alcohol-infused holiday for the group leader themselves, over what it was originally intended to be.
Overall, this was a costly and highly disappointing experience which warrants significant reflection and improvements from all ends. I trust that the appropriate lessons will be drawn from this to ensure that similar mistakes are not repeated in the future and that if so, they are addressed with greater care and diligence going forward.

This trip didn't feel professionally put together. The altitude ascents/declines were not suitable for acclimation so led to altitude sickness, very long driving hours to (some!) disappointing landmarks and being ushered in and out of vans for photo moments. The country, the people and our group were great and made it a positive experience but I wouldn't book with WeRoad again. Our coordinator didn't communicate plans well, they were late, incomplete or outdated. Overall I think she actually detracted from the group vibe instead of helping out.

I really enjoyed the WeRoad trip to Indochina (Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand). I was made to feel very welcome from the get-go by the group leader Dionysia and the group were very open and friendly. This is a great way to go to places that you might not visit by yourself, in the company of a group of like minded people.
Everything was very well organised and so much fun!

What an epic trip, would never have visited Kazakhstan without Weroad, but so glad I did. The trip immersed.us into the culture and beauty of the place. Meet an amazing group of people and created memories I’ll never forget. Everything was planned so well and Amy the coordinator made everything so easy, fun and exciting. Definitely recommend anybody to go with Weroad as it’s a totally unique way to travel and make new friends

My second trip with We Road and my first with Yaser as the tour coordinator. Where to start? My trip to South Korea was nothing short of amazing! I truly had the best time. Yaser was an extremely friendly, likeable, approachable, and organised individual. Of course we knew it was his job, however he literally left no stone unturned to ensure the group had the best experience! From organising all of the extra activities, to booking the nicest restaurants, to being our personal Google maps guide, and to just being great fun along the way also. We had such a laugh. Also, it was my birthday while on the trip and Yaser went out of his way to help me celebrate my birthday away from home. He made it one to remember.
Side note: Two of the extra activities that Yaser arranged that stuck out were The Yacht Cruise in Seoul and The Busan Sky Capsule. These two trips were trip highlights and I recommend that they are added to the trip itinerary for everyone to experience them.

The people make the trip! It was a very nice an relaxed way of traveling and meeting new people without it getting too intense.
Hotels are good, the booked restaurants were amazing! Altho staff could be unkind towards tourists.
Would deffinitly travel with WeRoad again!
