I rented a car in august 2026 at Olbia airport (Sardinia) coming from Amsterdam. It was ok, no scamming, but don't expect much customer service. Therefor three stars.

I followed instructions and called to be picked up at the airport with a shuttle which would bring us to the car rental place. This took a while (30min +). Apparently we were in the wrong place, we were on the parking lot in the middle of A3 and you should be on the side where the barriers are where many of these shuttlebuses operate from. Would have been nice to have been told this explicitely and maybe a little map in the email?
The whole experience is that they can give you the feeling everybody knows this and if you don't you are stupid. Also the shuttle bus is not exclusive but shared with many others.

The car rental in itself was ok, not super friendly but no attempts to upsell us extra insurance. Car was damaged but all the damages were honestly put on the papers I got. For the less experienced car renters out there; always check damages and take photo's of damages immediately when you get the car.
Driving in Sardinia can ask a lot of the car and driving and parking in spots that are extreme slopes, narrow streets, dust roads, having to park half on the street). Extra insurance is not a crazy idea if this gives you stress.

Bringing back the car was easy. I did not wash it but rinsed off the biggest dust and there were no extra fees asked. Full deposit was refunded after 1 week.

The shuttle was usefull.
The staff efficient.
The car did the job

Avoid this place at all costs. I really wish I had read the negative reviews before booking. I don’t need to repeat all the negative experiences others have already shared, but it’s a real shame that people take a well-deserved holiday break only to end up feeling scammed.

Poor service, inadequate, confusing, and inaccurate information, unexpected charges, and unfair and abusive rules such as a €1,000 deposit or a €45 penalty for not carrying a physical credit card. If you book with another company, beware of their insurance; they won't cover you if you have a problem. They charge you for the repair, and you have to claim it from the company you booked with. We booked with Car Alliance International, who also didn't inform you of this detail.
The office is far from the airport terminal, with no signage inside. The bus had battery problems, but they didn't tell us, so we had to wait more than 45 minutes. Then they tried to charge us extra for arriving after the office had closed. The shuttle driver offered to pay for it himself; it was the only good thing about the whole experience. We ultimately refused to pay for their problem. A terrible experience; I absolutely do not recommend them.

Helpful staff and an almost new car. However, the interior reeked of cigarette smoke, and there were stains on the back seats.

Professional, friendly, efficient, trustworthy with handy airport pick-up and drop-off. They have quality cars at competitive rates too! I've had the pleasure of renting from them twice and recommend their services.

The pick-up was quite uncomplicated, the waiting time for shuttle bus was limited, the staff were pleasant and tried to accommodate everyone.

Pickup at the airport was very complicated because of missing information about the location of the shuttle service to the rental station.

We rented a car via Discover Cars at the Cagliari branch of this company.

Because we could not show a video or pictures of the car when we returned the car, they charged us € 440,- for the smallest scratch they could find and was definitely not caused by us.

The car had 95K on the dashboard, had dozens of other scratches and dents, was quite dirty on the inside when we got it and the tank was not completely full.

We returned the car cleaner when we got it and with a full tank.

They have a Google rating of 2,3 stars which says it all…

We feel completely ripped off.

We received a car that was absolutely filthy, inside and out. We tried to film its condition, but because it was so dirty, small scratches were almost impossible to see.

Before returning it, we cleaned the car thoroughly, inside and out. At drop-off, they suddenly pointed out a tiny scratch that was barely visible to the naked eye and charged us an outrageous €450 for it.

They also knew we had a flight to catch, leaving us little time to dispute the charge properly.

Afterwards, we read other reviews describing similar experiences. We wish we had read them before booking.

Our advice: AVOID. If you do rent here, photograph and film every centimetre of the car before driving away, especially if they give it to you dirty.

Car was clean and new good service friendly transit driver

We had a great experience with the company, easy to talk to and relatively quick handling. The only thing was that the insurance was slightly expensive.
