Great short course. Very practical.

I like the easy structure of understanding more around the startup space. I like the interview follow startup investors in providing their viewpoints on different topic

Really enjoyed this course! I have recommended it to all my angel investor friends. Very detailed, clearly written, loved the investor and VC insights (over 40 of them), and quizzes and resources throughout to test your knowledge. Definitely would recommend!

I’ve done a number of similar courses / workshops on angel investing so a lot of the concepts were familiar but what I really appreciated about this compared to others is the way the topics and content has been curated and sequenced makes it informative and practical and easy to “digest”. The short video insights from different investors which added real life insights on the topics were very helpful. User friendly + mobile friendly format (I watched a bunch of it whilst commuting to and from the office). quick knowledge checks were all very useful to reinforce learning. Note to Aussie Angels - with current CGT tax reforms don’t forget to update for the changes!

That course was amazing, it was so comprehensive and provided such a great insight into the start-up and investing world. It was an abundance of knowledge and was really engaging course, with those videos from experienced investors.

Aussie Angels have put together a well structured course that takes both the exciting and mundane aspects of startup/angel investing and makes them engaging. This course will help you be more successful and prepared to invest in the startup ecosystem.

Great content, very accessible and easy to learn

Good course, worth the cost. The concepts that were explained made sense and it would have been challenging to get the same quality of beginner angel investor information from another source. The course has definitely helped me get started with angel investing. I will likely revisit to the course to consolidate my learning, since the course content remains available after completion.

One of the standout aspects was the interactive component. While we had already developed our investment thesis, the course’s structured framework challenged us to reassess our approach critically; this level of engagement pushed us to refine our thinking and strengthen our strategy in a way that many online courses typically do not.

Incredible course - you make the complex simple, and the boring (but essential) parts of investing interesting. Even as an experienced investor I picked up a few new gems. Great to see so many epic investors from the Australian ecosystem sharing their expertise and points of view in the course as well. Kudos on a fantastic product.

I loved the Aussie Angels Venture Academy course! The content is well-structured and presented, and the modules cover all key areas, with deeper dives into technical topics that I really appreciated. Cheryl and the team’s expertise shines through every part of the course. I found the sections on cheque size and deal flow particularly strong. They were more detailed and clearly explained than in other angel investing programs I’ve completed.
