We were very impressed with Callum

We were very impressed with Callum. He communicated with us the evening before and arrived punctually the following morning. His manners were impeccable and his knowledge was impressive. He diagnosed our problems very quickly and advised us on the use of our appliances.

I have never given a bad review before

I have never given a bad review before, but I was left unheard and problems not resolved.
I was told that the extremely loud noise from the hob was normal. Also the top oven grill keeps turning itself off and was told that was normal as it was thermostatic! I was told to keep the top oven door closed when grilling, despite showing the repair guy the written and online instructions clearly stating to leave the door open.
Nothing resolved. I would like to have someone from Stoves visit, not Pacifica.

This is by far the worst repair company…

This is by far the worst repair company I have EVER dealt with! We’ve been without a fridge for 6 weeks now and they just continue to book engineer visits. Every visit requires either myself or my partner to take the day off work. Engineers are always late, the last one was 2.5 hours late….diabolically unprofessional. On several occasions we’ve been straight up lied to on the phone regarding the repairs but what they didn’t expect is that I would call one of the engineers to confirm information provided by their team over the phone. He confirmed they had lied to my partner. They were also very rude to my partner on the phone. You’d think after 6 weeks in this heat wave they’d be competent enough to fix our fridge as they refuse to replace it. Now we’re waiting for the 7th visit to once again diagnose that our fridge is broken which will lead to yet another visit. We’re on course to taking legal action. This company is completely useless, they WILL waste your time and do anything they can to not replace faulty products. I highly recommend not using their service! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! If I could give them zero stars I would because they in no way deserve even half a star!

The worst company I have ever dealt…

The worst company I have ever dealt with. One fiasco after another. Will never use them again. 2 months and machine not fixed and no refund. Only saving grace was one of the engineers Dario who at least tried to be helpfull.

I reported my fridge wasn’t cooling…

I reported my fridge wasn’t cooling properly about a month ago now. I’ve have two engineers visits and attempt to fix the fridge which didn’t work. We’ve asked for a replacement at this point but they are only offering another engineer visit. I’ve had to chase them for follow ups when they said I’d be contacted within 48 hours.

Considering the heat wave we’ve had the past month this has been a major inconvenience. Really unhappy I wish to never have to deal with this company again.

Update to “another victim of the no parts syndrome”

I have had a phone call saying that my problem has been escalated and the parts should be ready in late September. The engineer visited on 12th May.
It seems that as the fault was diagnosed and a part ordered, I am not entitled to a refund. It seems that I agreed to this when I requested the job. Silly me.
I’m in my late 80s and have learned to go with the flow.
If I finally get my repair, I will be pleased but otherwise I will just wave goodbye to my £249.99. At least, there is not another zero at the end.
I am only bothering to post this as a warning to others.

Absolutely nothing good to say about this company.

First engineer misdiagnosed. Parts delivered directly without informing me and arrived broken. For third appointment engineer didn't even show up. 3 collections booked for broken parts and courier didn't show up each time. Half an hour on hold to call centre before giving up. Job closed without repair being completed so had to make contact and they had to create another job. Absolutely nothing good to say about this company. 13055306 / 2 repair ID if any staff want to confirm what has been written.

You’ve tried the rest, now try the best 😁

Thanks so much Mike D 4094😁from start to finish, an absolute pleasure! He was on time, but most of all he was cheerful, chatty and extremely polite and helpful, he solved my problem with my fridge freezer in no time. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He is an absolute credit to your company and I wish him all the best, thanks Mike 😁👍

1 star because I couldn’t give zero stars

I purchased an LG stainless steel American fridge freezer. Unfortunately, following a leak at my home, part of the kitchen ceiling collapsed and caused considerable scratches to both the fridge and freezer doors.
I contacted LG, who confirmed that replacement doors were available and referred me to Pacifica as their approved service engineers.
I attempted to contact Pacifica by phone, but unfortunately the automated system did not recognise my request, and I went round in circles. I then visited Pacifica website, but the only option I could find was to book a diagnostic call out. As the issue has already been identified and replacement parts had been confirmed by LG, I did not believe a diagnostic visit was necessary. (The diagnostic call out was at a pre-paid fee of £170.00). I then managed to find an email address, so I sent a request for:
A quotation for the supply and replacement of both doors
The cost of an engineer to carry out the installation
An indication of the earliest available appointment date for the work.
Pacifica eventually sent me a message with a phone number (0191 300 4921) which when I called, after being cut off 3 times previously, I managed to explain my circumstances. I clarified I did not need a diagnostic call out. I needed the parts (doors) to be ordered, a fitting date and a cost. The call handler confirmed that the engineer would arrive on an agreed date with the doors in his van. I was told I couldn’t process my request without paying the diagnostic fee, which I did.
You guessed it, the engineer arrived without the doors. He didn’t even seem aware of why he was booked in.
He confirmed he would order the doors, and they would be delivered directly to my house.
I got confirmation from courier and when he arrived, he had a rubber seal and the LG sticker for the front of the fridge!!!! The next day, another rubber seal was delivered. A few days later, without any communication the two doors were delivered. At this point, for the first time, I had no reason to imagine this repair wouldn’t happen. I just needed a date off Pacifica for when the engineer would fit them.
Then, out of the blue, I received an email stating that Pacifica could not install the doors, and the courier would be collecting them and the seals the following day. Without any explanation whatsoever. And to add insult to injury the £170 we paid for the diagnostic we didn’t even need would only be partially refunded which means I am out of pocket to the tune of £100.
All the time and effort and energy wasted on this company has been for nothing.
I feel the diagnostic approach is a tactic to extract cash off potential customers. They could have investigated the whole situation prior to my booking the engineer in the first place. My request was simple, yet Pacifica made it so long winded, complicated and in the end pointless.
I feel they take your money off you and then don’t care what happens next. There is no concern and clearly, they don’t do their job with any integrity.
I am now looking for a replacement fridge freezer and will avoid any future contact with Pacifica.
