I appreciate what therealreal is trying to do, but I'm almost always disappointed when I do end up ordering. I recently ordered a shirt that noted "minor discoloration throughout" and it was absolutely riddled with spots, despite being listed as "good" condition. Of course it wasn't eligible for return. Another one of my big complaints is the amount they charge for shipping. It's astronomical! My fiancé just bought a several thousand dollar bracelet on TRR and I was gobsmacked to find that they STILL charged $16 shipping. Are you kidding? You can't offer free shipping when someone spends several thousand dollars on your site? It's ludicrous. As far as quality goes, you just never really know what you're getting unless you already know the brand really well. All in all, I find it to be more frustrating than worth it.

I didn't receive my second package on the date TRR guaranteed me. It's two days late so far and I still haven't received my package. My package has been mis-shipped.

I've been a size 38 my entire life. These shoes are labeled as such but are so small. They don't fit and I'm very dissatisfied.

We had to pay 50€ customs fees besides 55$ shipping cost. It is insane. They should manage the customs papers properly so costumers don’t have to pay these nonsense costs.

Have purchased multiple times from them - they are always so quick with shipping and product is always better than described!

Will not shop Real Real again. Will not recommend. It took way too long to receive, poor shipping updates, paid UPS for upgrade. Upon receipt… sunglasses scratched, sunglasses case was broken, sneakers were beyond weathered, the shoe laces were gray with wear. The purse was ok. Needless to say the photos did not represent the true product.

I brought a Chloe tote bag, basically brand new with the tag still on. My bag looks exactly like the picture. There are no odors, scratches or tears, only 3 superficial stains which I've already removed with baby wipes. A gorgeous thick supple leather. I got it for a steal not even half of retail price. My first experience with the Real Real has been very pleasant.

Items arrived as described, however usage was incorrectly labeled as "great condition" on one of the items as the use appeared to be more significant.
