Uncoordinated and not customer friendly
We bought a house in Sweden and therefore decided to buy a lot of our electronics and white goods at power.se
I then also decided to buy an ironing board from a brand that I have very good experience with normally - Laura star. unfortunately upon trying the ironing board, I realized that the system was complicated and not fit for my needs. Realizing that I had already thrown away the packaging, we called customer service at power.se ...
the clerk there said that we could bring it back, and that the store might deduct a small discount.
so we packed up the ironing board and brought it back to the store (30km).
To our surprise we heard there that they were unsure what to do. And that they hadn't received an email from customer service as they apparently usually do.
They said they would write back next day and kept the ironing board.
After 2 days of not hearing back, we went back to the store (again 30km) only to hear that they were undecided what to do... and that normally they don't take back unpacked goodnat all.
After a 15min wait, in the end they said that the best they could do was take a 50% discount on a brand new ironing board....Simply because the cardboard was missing.
I tried to talk with them and suggest a more reasonable discount. But the young lady made it clear that there was nothing she could do. Nor was anybody really interested in trying to find a viable solution..
I may note that from the start I had said I would be prepared to buy another ironing board from power.se but simply didn't like the present model.
Given that no solution was found, I took back my ironing board and will sell it elsewhere.
That was the last time buying at power.se for me for sure.
