Whirlpool Fridge needing a diagnose

I had a problem with my fridge which was freezing my veggies, milk and some other things below and freezer was good. I found Pegasus and receptionist was transparent and patient with me asking questions. The service technician that came his name is Emil. I was worried if I can trust someone being transparent with the diagnosis and boy he was the greatest. It came that there was nothing wrong with the fridge other than to put veggies a bit higher in the crisper drawers as well as leave the exhaust or fan in middle of fridge open and not covered so it can breathe. Some other things he educated me on the Whirlpool fridge. He also fixed my bottom drawer of my stove as it was falling down. The service call was more than fair. Pegasus is fortunate to have such a trustworthy technician. Thank you Emil and if I need anything else to fix, I will ask for you. 👏

We called on a Friday afternoon of a long weekend

We called on a Friday afternoon... they showed up Sat morning ( it was a long weekend!!). The repair technician had the necessary parts in his truck to do the repair on the same trip. Thanks guys. Great job!!

Dishwasher had issues

Dishwasher had issues. Michael from St Catherines Pegasus arrived promptly and diagnosed problem with water pump. New part ordered and installed for fair price given time spent. He also found additional issue with discharge hose which was kinked by original installer . Michael then drove to Home Depot to get a replacement and installed it. Fantastic service

To make a short story short I advise…

To make a short story short I advise people to stay alert.i won't mention the technician name but I felt like I was been scammed. When I called Pegasus That the baking element in my stove had burnt out, the voice that answered said That visit to diagnose the problem is $99. But that amount would go towards the cost of the labour for repair.well that wasn't the case the technician said That the part was $53 +tax which I thought was fair but he was going to charge me an extra 100 for just plugging it in.

Just to clarify, the $99 service call covers the technician coming out, diagnosing your stove, and providing a quote. This is outlined in our FAQ across the website and was explained at the time of booking. The fee applies whether you proceed with the repair or not, as it covers the technician’s time and expertise. This is standard practice across the industry, and our rate is actually on the lower side.

The baking element itself was $53 + tax. The additional cost wasn’t simply for “plugging it in”—it includes removing the old part, properly installing the new one, testing the appliance, and providing a warranty on the repair.

As promised, the full $99 service call was applied toward the total repair cost.

If there was an expectation that the $99 would cover the entire repair, that’s unfortunately not how the process works, and it was communicated in advance.

Fridge Repaired Quickly, Technician Super Friendly

I was able to book an appointment the same day and the technician (Gregory) arrived within the timeframe provided. He quickly assessed the problem with our fridge and provided a quote, indicating that he had the replacement part with him if we wished to continue. He replaced the sensor and tidied the area when finished. Gregory was friendly, respectful and skilled - I'd recommend Pegasus / Gregory anytime.

fridge repair

The lady over the phone was very nice and booked the service at he same day.
Technician arrived on time,and was very polite and professional. My fridge was fixed at the same day for a very reasonable price.
Overall, I was impressed with this company, strongly recommend to call them if you have appliances issues

We had a great experience with Pegasus

We had a great experience with Pegasus! Appointment was booked within hours, tech also called to let us know when he was on route to our home. Emil was friendly and knowledgeable, he found the problem quickly, had the part and fixed it right away. We would called again for any appliance needs. Price was fair for this kind of repair.
