Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 356 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the customer service, finding it unhelpful, unresponsive, and difficult to reach a real person, often receiving generic or unhelpful responses. Customers also frequently reported issues with product quality, with devices breaking down prematurely or not functioning as expected, leading to frustration with the overall service and product reliability. The pricing of products was also a common point of contention, with many finding them expensive compared to alternatives. However, some customers also noted positive experiences with trade-ins, where the process was smooth and the promised value was credited promptly. A few other people also felt that the devices, when working, could be reliable and convenient for managing certain aspects like heating and cooling.

GOOGLE PIXEL PRO 9 FOLD

I’m extremely disappointed with this phone (Google Pixel Pro 9 Fold). The touchscreen frequently becomes unresponsive, which makes even basic use frustrating. On top of that, I’ve had ongoing connectivity problems with both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi—they’ve been unreliable from the start.

What’s most upsetting is that less than eight months in, the main (inner) screen cracked simply from opening the device. I literally heard it crack, and now that screen is unusable—the very feature I bought this phone for.

Overall, my experience has been nothing but issues, and it’s been incredibly frustrating to deal with. I wouldn’t recommend this phone to anyone and have already discourage others from purchasing one.

Excellent Watch, Fatal Flaw for Swimmers (3rd Replacement Pending)

I have a love-hate relationship with the Pixel Watch 4 45mm. On the surface, it is a fantastic smartwatch with great integration and a beautiful display. However, if you are a daily lap swimmer, my experience suggests a recurring hardware reliability issue that cannot be ignored.

The Product Failure:
I swim a consistent "metric mile" (1500m / 60 lengths) every day in a standard 25m pool. For the first two weeks, the watch is flawless. But like clockwork, after 15–20 hours of water exposure, the internal accelerometer appears to degrade. My 60-length swims suddenly register as anything from 6 lengths (150m) to 72 lengths (1800m).

The Support Experience:
I must credit the Google Customer Care team—they have been as cooperative as possible. They didn't just give me the run-around; they acknowledged that after two identical failures, this isn't a software glitch or "user error."

I am currently waiting for my third replacement device. Support has confirmed they are now "documenting sensor degradation patterns" for their engineering teams. While I appreciate the quick replacements, a premium fitness tracker shouldn't be a "disposable" item that requires a warranty claim every 21 days.

The Verdict:
If you don't swim, this is a 5-star device. If you do, you are essentially "beta testing" the hardware's durability. It’s frustrating to have a support team that tries their best but a product that fundamentally fails to meet its advertised purpose for swimmers.

I have zero confidence that my third watch will last longer than a month, and I expect I will be asking for a full refund when this one inevitably fails.

I find the phones themselves good but…

I find the phones themselves good but beware of the trade in process!! I was supposed to receive £150 in trade in and despite having email confirmation, Google did not send the refund. I have been chasing them for 2 months and they keep saying they've sent it and it's the banks problem. It feels like I've been scammed...

Price match buy only from 'authorised…

Price match buy only from 'authorised UK retailers'.

Vodafone arent on that list. Does that mean they arent UK sellers of Pixel? Or grey market then?

Your reviews scores seem to be quite low..

Very

Very, very, very poor, so disappointing. Make every attempt to complicate the issue instead of doing the right thing. Broken product within the warranty but make it so difficult to solve. I was a massive Google fan but feel let down. No more, good bye Google, you have lost your way.

Most games are absolute pay to win…

Most games are absolute pay to win garbage just like the majority of all shitty mobile apps cant even enjoy yourself with all of the forced ads for games you wouldnt play if you were paid to total trash. just maybe if someone could create a game that requires skill to win instead of money but that just wouldnt be reality is it. Anybody who gives this game a high rating you can be sure they drained their bank account to do so. by the way would have given 0 stars if i had the chance.

Over the years of having one, when you loose control of the theromostat and panic, reset, reset, reset, wait, ask for help, let the stress build.....got use to it now, just wait for google to get the act together for a while and it all comes back (especially after checking down detector to make sure others are having issues.) Same again today

Google ruined Fitbit quality

Google product Fitbit Versa 4 smartwatch lasted 3 ½ years then wasn’t performing: not synching with app, missed steps, failed to record sleep. Fitbit was bought in 2022 by Google. Prior models of Fitbit, per my friends, are still working as designed.

HeadlineExclusive" 35% discount is a marketing gimmick – zero support for loyal customers.

"I’ve been a Fitbit user for years, but my experience with the Charge 6 has been a massive disappointment. I bought it 1.5 years ago for $250, and despite using it for its intended purpose (recreational swimming), it completely stopped working just six months out of warranty.
When I called Fitbit/Google support, they offered me an 'exclusive' 35% discount for a replacement. However, when I went to the Google Store, the same discount is already available to the general public. My 'special' code doesn't stack, meaning there is zero benefit for being a returning customer. Providing a 35% discount that anyone can get is insulting. Paying $250 for a device that barely lasts past the warranty is poor value. I expected better durability and actual support from Google."

Phone trade in handled well etc

Phone trade in handled well and as described, cashback handled well, fast reliable delivery with a good provider.
The battery life is not so good on the Pixel 10 but that's not an issue with the store.

Google stop scamming your customers!

Google stop scamming your customers!
This is the second time you have done this, I want a brand new Google pixel 10 pro phone which I have paid for, not a refurbished one. Your Google support staff didn't even handle my request and denied my request for a refund, despite the fact I am within my 14 days return policy.
Refer to 'Google Support enquiry[5-3174000040476]'.

Offcom and trading standards should investigate your Google store and check how many customers has been effected by this scam.

Pixel watch 4 clueless

ok reviews pending because this watch and Fitbit are not a personal health item they are just an exercise buddy designed to boost somebody's motivation, whilst this is ok but otherwise it is a second rate Chinese knock off that can be bought for £20 it may look good but underneath it's handsome looks there is very little to describe as cutting edge it's sensors are just a GPS tracker and a pulse measuring screen nothing that is not available for under £20. Which ever Chinese factory built this watch for Google is laughing all the way to the bank. They have taken you for mugs it is not fit for the purpose implied by Googles advertising.tesm.
More a cheap run tracker and sales device for Fitbit and peleton

nose surgery

I recently had a nose job and I couldn’t be happier with the results I was under anesthesia during the procedure, so I didn’t feel anything at all which made the whole experience much less stressful. It has truly boosted my confidence and made me feel so much better about myself The entire process was smooth and reassuring, and I’m especially grateful that I chose Dr Youssef Gam. He was professional attentive and made me feel comfortable every step of the way I’m really thankful for his amazing work and would highly recommend him to anyone considering a similar procedure🌸

The creepy cost of Alexa/Google and no, its not cash!

If you want to use multiple Spotify accounts on a smart speaker, be warned: it’s a data-mining trap.

To hear your own music instead of a roommate's, Alexa and Google "require" Voice Match. They market this as a luxury, but it’s actually the unnecessary collection of biometric data. There is no technical reason a simple command like "Switch to my account" couldn't work without a digital fingerprint of your vocal cords.

By forcing you to upload a unique voiceprint just to access a service you already pay for, these tech giants are building a database of exactly who is in your home and when. Don't trade your privacy for a playlist.

Never buy from Fitbit - Google owned and have run it into the ground!

Please never buy from Fitbit now! It has been taken over by Google and as you can see by numerous other reviews, they don’t help their customers if they face issues, and trust me, there’s a lot of issues with Fitbit! I will never be buying one again now. It’s such a shame as Fitbit was fantastic before. If you go to them with a problem, all they do is offer you a discount code for a new one?! Their customer service is a joke. I’ve been going back and forth with “support” for weeks, but they don’t listen, all they do is tell you to perform basic troubleshooting steps again and again.
